The complaints claim West would frequently interrupt meetings to watch hardcore porn, which he allegedly used as a manipulation tactic to knock people off guard. Worse still, the staffers claim that Adidas executives were well aware of West\u2019s alleged behavior and frequently looked the other way.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHey, just so you know, there\u2019s gonna be this whole porn-reference thing,\u201d an Adidas vice president allegedly told Yeezy staffers.<\/p>\n<p>All staffers spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/kanye-west-yeezy-porn-bullying-kim-kardashian-1234635221\/\"><em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> on condition of anonymity, fearing legal reprisals from West and the Adidas brand. One anonymous staffer claimed that West would frequently reference sex when discussing his fashion products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">\u201cWe create products of passion,\u201d one staffer claims Ye said. \u201cI\u00a0literally\u00a0want to fuck my shoes. That\u2019s how good they are.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><em>Rolling Stone<\/em> profiled one particular incident in late 2013 wherein staffers claim West showed a hardcore pornography video. \u201cHe showed me the video of Francesca Le, a buff porn star with a strap-on dildo fucking another girl in the ass,\u201d one former staffer said. \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018What do you think of it?\u2019 Not laughing at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Two other staffers told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> that West would also show \u201chomemade sex tapes of West engaging in sexual activities with women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>West himself tacitly confirmed some of these allegations in a recent 30-minute documentary released on YouTube that featured a scene of him showing a pornographic video to two Adidas executives on a phone. Per <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Moments later in the documentary, West alludes to having a history of antics like \u2018playing the porn\u2019 and \u2018screaming\u2019 as elements of his Adidas relationships: \u2018We\u2019ve done all this,\u2019 he says. Shervin Pishevar, a venture capitalist who worked with West, chimes in to tell the executives, \u2018What you\u2019re feeling right now is extreme discomfort, and that is exactly the point.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The open letter sent to the Adidas board, which aims to speak for a collective of employees \u2018who may be fearful of speaking up,\u2019 claims that the scene \u2018is by no means a new intimidation approach\u2019 and that \u2018Kanye\u2019s problematic behavior started within the first year of his partnership with the Adidas brand.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The former staffers also claim that Kanye West showed a sexually explicit image of his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian to a prospective employee during a job interview.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">In another job interview that allegedly took place in 2018, West told a female candidate that she should \u201cwatch porn for 10 minutes\u201d if she were to ever \u201cget stuck creatively.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>During meetings, the employees claimed that West would frequently disrupt the proceedings by whipping out his laptop so he can watch porn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd he\u2019s like, \u2018I know it\u2019s uncomfortable, but I kind of need this in the background to keep me focused.\u2019 And you\u2019d be like, \u2018Uhhhhh, oh-<em>kay<\/em>,&#8217;\u201d a former staffer said.<\/p>\n<p>Adidas responded to the allegations and asserted that the company will conduct a thorough investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is currently not clear whether the accusations made in an anonymous letter are true,\u201d the response said. \u201cHowever, we take these allegations very seriously and have taken the decision to launch an independent investigation of the matter immediately to address the allegations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Kanye\u2019s billionaire status took a nosedive in October when his longtime shoe partner\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2022\/10\/25\/adidas-terminates-partnership-with-kanye-west-following-his-antisemitic-rants\/\">ended its deal<\/a>\u00a0with him after various anti-hate groups petitioned the company for over a week in the wake of his antisemitic remarks.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">\u201cAdidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,\u201d the company said. \u201cYe\u2019s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company\u2019s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. Adidas will stop the Adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after Adidas dropped out,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2022\/10\/26\/gap-removes-kanye-west-yeezy-merchandise-closes-yeezygap-com-over-antisemitic-rants\/\">Gap announced<\/a>\u00a0it\u00a0pulled all of West\u2019s Yeezy merchandise and shuttered YeezyGap.com.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur former partner\u2019s recent remarks and behavior further underscore why we are taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap product from our stores,\u201d\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/10\/25\/business\/gap-kanye\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Gap said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>West\u2019s apparent penchant for porn was formalized in 2018 when he became the creative director for the first-ever Pornhub Awards ceremony. A year later, he professed he had become a born-again Christian and released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2019\/11\/04\/kanye-wests-jesus-is-king-is-no-1-album-in-america\/\">record<\/a> titled\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2019\/11\/05\/every-song-on-kanye-west-jesus-is-king-album-reaches-hot-100\/\">Jesus Is King<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>However, West has since confessed to a continuing struggle with porn usage.
