Instead of working out and eating new and nutritious meals, you\u2019ve been recommended fast food and very little if any time in the gym.\u00a0A full year later, you have gained 40 pounds, your blood pressure is through the roof, your sleep is horrible, and you have no energy.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Eventually, you would come to realize you got sold a load of bull.<\/p>\n<p>While this seems like a ridiculous scenario, a version of it is happening in cities across America, where voters have been deceived \u2014 not by a fictional trainer \u2014\u00a0but by a number of elected prosecutors.\u00a0Technically these district attorneys are prosecutors, I suppose, but, in reality, they are really \u201cPINOs\u201d \u2014 Prosecutors In Name Only. These PINOs were propelled to victory on a wave of cash from George Soros-related PACs and other left-leaning organizations with seemingly wonderful and altruistic names such as the \u201cFair and Just Prosecution\u201d and \u201cPartnership for Safety &#038; Justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a \u201creform\u201d as if calling something \u201creform\u201d makes it magically good.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And, after they got into office, the PINOs began to experiment on the American people by Kim Foxx in Chicago, Alvin Bragg in Manhattan, Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, Chesa Boudin in San Francisco, Marilyn Mosby in Baltimore, George Gasc\u00f3n in LA, Kim Gardner in St. Louis, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>I spent nearly 15 years as a prosecutor in the Cook County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s Office in Chicago, working my way up to second in command, and I know first-hand that sensible reform does not have to sacrifice public safety. For crimes motivated by drug addiction, like prostitution, my team favored treatment over incarceration. Yet, the PINOs do anything <em>but<\/em> enforce the law or uphold the Constitution. With the main goal of \u201cdecarceration,\u201d they enact new policies that arbitrarily nullify entire sections of law.<\/p>\n<p>Take Cook County State\u2019s Attorney Foxx in Chicago. When she took office in 2016, she decided she didn\u2019t like Illinois\u2019 retail theft laws, which made stealing more than $300 of merchandise a felony. Catch and release is now the rule; the revolving door of justice now common. <\/p>\n<p>The common PINO excuse for a rise in crime is to dismiss or deny it and then blame it on something, really anything (like COVID), other than their own policies. However, in Foxx\u2019s Chicago, <a href=\"https:\/\/home.chicagopolice.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">murders are up 30%<\/a>, carjackings <a href=\"https:\/\/home.chicagopolice.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nearly 300%<\/a>.\u00a0In Gasc\u00f3n\u2019s Los Angeles, 397 people were killed in 2021, the most homicides since 2007, marking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2022-04-01\/violent-crime-surge-la-county-george-gascon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a 53% increase<\/a> from 2019. In Bragg\u2019s New York, violent crime has <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/08\/01\/nyc-murders-shootings-spiked-in-july-as-part-of-40-jump-in-major-crimes-in-2022\/\">soared 40%<\/a> since 2021. No problem \u2014 just keep it at around $999.\u00a0You want to carjack someone?\u00a0By all means, go ahead.\u00a0You probably won\u2019t get caught because a lack of meaningful prosecution has killed off proactive policing.<\/p>\n<p>The PINOs enacted their policies, and the policies yielded terrible results.
