Getting ready to leave the hospital. Time to blow this taco stand. Woohoo!\u201d the host said in the clip as he walked out of the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBack home in time to catch a little bit of the [Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade] Missing being next to [Savannah Guthrie] and [Hoda Kotb],\u201d he wrote in a second post.<\/p>\n<p>Roker has been a staple of the \u201cToday\u201d show\u2019s coverage of the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade and missed hosting the show for the first time in the last 27 years, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/11\/24\/al-roker-leaves-hospital-after-missing-macys-thanksgiving-day-parade\/\">Page Six<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n<p>In a final post, he shared photos of him with his family enjoying the holiday together. \u201cSo very #thankful to be able to be home for [Thanksgiving] [Dinner] with [Family].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roker revealed his absence from the show November 18 and said that he had been in the hospital after a blood cot in his leg \u201csent some clots into\u201d his lungs, as previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/longtime-today-show-host-al-roker-in-the-hospital-explains-absence-from-show\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I\u2019ve been,\u201d the \u201cToday\u201d show host wrote. \u201cLast week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery,\u201d he added. \u201cThanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon.
