said Vivek Pandya, lead analyst Adobe Digital Insights. &#8220;E-commerce has remained resilient thus far, a strong start to the season as we look towards Cyber Monday, which is expected to set new records for online shopping.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Consumers have seen holiday deals come earlier and more frequently.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Discounts for toys have hit a record high,\u00a0peaking at 30%<strong> <\/strong>off listed price in the first three weeks of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Online sales of toys are\u00a0up 172%, when compared to daily average sales last month\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There areas where discounts have been seen the most are in tech: electronics (22%), computers (14%), appliances (13%) and televisions (13%).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/retail\/dicks-sporting-goods-beats-sales-forecasts-earnings-fall-third-quarter-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>DICK&#8217;S SPORTING GOODS BEATS SALES FORECASTS AS EARNINGS FALL IN THIRD-QUARTER REPORT<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also in the discount hunt, but more modestly are: apparel (12%), sporting goods (8%) and furniture (4%).<\/p>\n<div class=\"inline image-ct\">\n<div class=\"m\"><source media=\"(max-width: 767px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1023px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1024px) and (max-width: 1279px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1280px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a57.foxnews.com\/static.foxbusiness.com\/foxbusiness.com\/content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/931\/523\/hot-wheels2.jpg?ve=1&#038;tl=1\" alt=\"Hot Wheels track layout\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption\">\n<p><span>Mattel&#8217;s Hot Wheels are among the most demand toys this season.<\/span><span> (Mattel)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The hottest toys include Hot Wheels and Paw Patrol. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/tech\/nintendo-switch-a-year-in-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Nintendo Switch<\/a> is a top-selling game console. Other hot sellers include smart speakers, air fryers, Apple iPad and gift cards.<\/p>\n<p>The most in demand categories are kitchenware are up 155%, as consumers begin to plan holiday meals.
