Marjorie Taylor Greene\u2019s (R-GA) reelection was such a sure thing that she was projected the winner as polls closed on Election Day, but that didn\u2019t stop liberal groups from challenging her right to be on the ballot.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to facing a well-financed upstart challenger in a race she won 66%-34%, she faced a challenge to having her name on the ballot by a group that labeled her an insurrectionist for defending some of those jailed in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/washington-secrets\/biden-opens-secret-amnesty-door-swamping-border-facilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BIDEN OPENS SECRET DOOR TO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL MIGRANTS<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Late yesterday, in her first long video tweet since Elon Musk gave back her private @mtgreenee account, Greene revealed that she has legal bills of $700,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey actually attacked me so hard. They tried to get my name taken off the ballot. This was earlier this year, and I couldn&#8217;t defend myself and raise money for attorney fees. My attorney fees are approximately around $700,000,\u201d Greene said. <\/p>\n<p>The first-term lawmaker said that in losing her personal Twitter account at the beginning of the year over COVID-19-related tweets the social media platform didn\u2019t like, she lost a huge fundraising avenue to raise money to fight the ballot challenge and opponent Marcus Flowers.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, she put in a plug for help in paying down those fees. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose arrogant jerks,\u201d she said. \u201cI beat them handily. They appealed, and I beat him again. So that&#8217;s where we are right now. So [go to] <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mtgforamerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mtgforamerica.com<\/a>. You can send me a little present for fighting. I would really appreciate that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also suggested that donors to Flowers, who raised over $14 million, \u201cask for your money back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/washington-secrets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEE THE LATEST POLITICAL NEWS AND BUZZ FROM WASHINGTON SECRETS<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>She explained, \u201cHe never had a chance of winning.\u201d But she said that by banning her from Twitter by taking down her personal account, she couldn\u2019t warn those considering donating to his campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo basically all that money you guys donated, millions and millions and millions of dollars, you could have donated to try to beat other Republicans,&#8221; Greene said. &#8220;You poured it into Marcus Flowers, and he lit it on fire like a dumpster fire \u2014 just like our cities were in the summer of rage and 2020.
