The Barrymore crowd audibly gasped in the background.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I stand up, and she was like comparing herself to this little girl,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I thought, \u2018This isn\u2019t right. I don\u2019t understand what this is.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cBut I just, I behaved and I just smiled and felt like so taken advantage of,\u201d Shields continued. \u201cYou know, in so many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page Six included a clip of the 1981 interview showing Walters asking Shields about her measurements.<\/p>\n<p>Looking a bit surprised, the aspiring model replied, \u201cUm, I\u2019m 5\u201910, 120.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Walters explained that when most people saw Shields, they didn\u2019t realize \u201chow tall and slender\u201d the model was.<\/p>\n<p>Walters then made a comment to Brooke\u2019s mother, Teri, asking whether it\u2019s \u201cvery hard when you got a little kid this high to keep it down to size, isn\u2019t it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shields previously spoke out about the 1981 interview with Walters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s practically criminal,\u201d the actress explained during her appearance in 2021 on Dax Shepard\u2019s podcast, \u201cArmchair Expert.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s not journalism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shields also labeled the questions from Walters \u201cmaddening\u201d as she grilled the teen on her personal life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWould you be a mother like your mother?\u201d Walters asked Shields before asking Teri, \u201cWhat about people who say, \u2018She had no childhood\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress came to her mother\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you have any secrets from your mother?\u201d Walters continued as the model again defended her mom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/brooke-shields-said-revealing-virginity-status-in-her-20s-was-a-huge-mistake\">Brooke Shields Said Revealing Virginity Status In Her 20s Was \u2018A\u00a0Mistake\u2019<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood star Brooke Shields called out journalist Barbara Walters for a question she asked the actress when she was just 15 years old in the early days of her career, saying it was inappropriate.
