That was news to us,\u201d defense attorney Andrew Baldwin said.<\/p>\n<p>Police previously said they would not release the probable cause affidavit used to arrest Allen for his alleged connection to the murders of 13-year-old Libby German and her best friend Abby Williams. On Tuesday, prosecutors said they \u201cbelieve Richard Allen is not the only actor involved in this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Biggest news that came out of this morning\u2019s hearing about sealed records in the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Delphi?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Delphi<\/a> murder case is this statement by the prosecutor. \u201cWe believe Richard Allen is not the only actor involved in this.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/wthr?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#wthr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bob Segall (@BobSegallWTHR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BobSegallWTHR\/status\/1595079429075734529?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 22, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Baldwin, however, dismissed the allegations against his client, saying Allen \u201cis the wrong guy,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wthr.com\/article\/news\/crime\/delphi-girls-murdered\/judge-to-decide-on-releasing-court-docs-on-suspect-in-delphi-killings-richard-allen-libby-german-abby-williams-indiana-murder-charges\/531-c6a10fa7-e709-4d82-be15-dcfbd8b65983\">according to WTHR<\/a>. He also called the probable cause affidavit \u201cflimsy\u201d and said his client \u201cvery emotionally looked us in the eye and said I am not guilty thank you for helping us\u2026helping me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cYou know, we\u2019ll see, again our client very emotionally looked us in the eye and said I am not guilty thank you for helping us\u2026helping me\u201d<\/p>\n<p>-Attorney Andrew Baldwin<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Max Lewis (@MaxLewisTV) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MaxLewisTV\/status\/1595079943679053824?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 22, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Allen on Tuesday requested to be let out on bail before his trial, arguing in his petition that \u201cbecause neither the proof of guilt is evident, nor the presumption of guilt strong, the Accused is seeking a hearing to release the Accused.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the bodies of German and Williams were found, police pulled evidence from Libby\u2019s phone, which included photos of a potential suspect, as well as an audio recording of a man saying \u201cdown the hill.\u201d Police released two sketches of possible suspects, as well as a short audio clip. The Murder Sheet Podcast was also able to obtain court documents this summer that showed an FBI agent sought a search warrant for the property where the girls\u2019 bodies were found, a property owned by Ron Logan.<\/p>\n<p>The search warrant revealed that the audio recording containing the \u201cdown the hill\u201d clip was actually 43 seconds but wasn\u2019t fully released to the public. In addition, investigators reportedly found a large amount of blood where the girls\u2019 bodies were found and believed the perpetrator must have gotten blood on their hands or clothing. Police also suggested that the perpetrator may have taken a \u201csouvenir\u201d from the girls and \u201cmoved and staged\u201d their bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The warrant also suggested Logan fit the physical description of the man seen in photos on Libby\u2019s phone and that he had lied about his alibi.
