The surprise move to reinstate 71-year-old Iger after two years of Chapek\u2019s reign follows a flailing quarterly earnings report. But Disney will have to chuck more than its chief executive into the reject pile to regain the trust of parents put off by the company\u2019s targeting of children with its sexual agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Disney <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-earnings-bob-chapek-222437424e4bab95833ad7db986fc724\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posted<\/a> profit and revenue that came in below projections for its fourth fiscal quarter, causing shares to hit a new 52-week low. While the company tried to emphasize growth on its streaming platform, Disney Plus, CNBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/11\/11\/disney-plans-hiring-freeze-job-cuts-memo-says.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noted<\/a> that \u201cDisney\u2019s streaming services lost $1.47 billion last quarter, more than double the unit\u2019s loss from a year prior.\u201d Later that week, a memo from Chapek revealed plans for a hiring freeze and layoffs. Disney stock is down 40 percent this year alone and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/media-telecom\/bob-iger-returning-disney-ceo-2022-11-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shrank<\/a> by nearly a third under Chapek.<\/p>\n<p>Why might Disney be struggling? Maybe it\u2019s because the supposedly \u201cfamily-friendly\u201d entertainment behemoth has steadily been feeding a left-wing sexual agenda to children \u2014 and bragging about it.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Disney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/03\/28\/disney-vows-to-help-repeal-dont-say-gay-law.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fought<\/a> against a Florida law barring classroom instruction about sexual ideology in kindergarten through third grade, after the CEO was chastened by LGBT extremists for not speaking up soon or strongly enough. Chapek led the company in vowing to get rid of the law, which even a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2022\/apr\/1\/poll-over-60-us-voters-support-language-florida-pa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">majority<\/a> of Democrat voters supported.<\/p>\n<p>Around the same time, in discussions obtained by investigative journalist Chris Rufo, Disney employees were caught <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/30\/disney-executives-admit-of-course-were-grooming-your-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">openly bragging<\/a> about filling children\u2019s movies with sexual propaganda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur leadership over there has been so welcoming to my, like, not-at-all-secret gay agenda,\u201d boasted Latoya Raveneau, an executive producer for Disney Television Animation. \u201cI was just, wherever I could, just basically adding queerness. \u2026 No one would stop me and no one was trying to stop me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another Disney employee advertised a \u201ctracker\u201d he uses to meet self-imposed quotas for LGBT characters in Disney\u2019s \u201cMoon Girl\u201d TV series. President of Disney General Entertainment Karey Burke reportedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/03\/30\/disney-executive-wants-more-lgbtqia-minority-character\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">signaled<\/a>\u00a0a goal that at least 50 percent of Disney characters will be LGBT or racial minorities by the year\u2019s end. <\/p>\n<p>After those leaks, a Trafalgar Group\/Convention of States Action poll found that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/12\/americans-are-turned-off-by-disneys-groomer-crusade-according-to-new-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">68 percent<\/a> of Americans said they were \u201cless likely\u201d to do business with Disney as a result.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[READ NEXT: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/30\/disney-executives-admit-of-course-were-grooming-your-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Disney Executives Admit: Of Course We\u2019re Grooming Your Children<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That pervasive agenda has been evident from movies like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/20\/after-disney-doubles-down-on-sexualizing-kids-lightyear-falls-way-short-at-box-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lightyear<\/a>\u201d to shows like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/07\/01\/baymax-shows-remorseless-disney-plans-to-keep-pummeling-kids-with-its-sexual-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Baymax.<\/a>\u201d Last year, Walt Disney World also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/disney-removes-ladies-and-gentlemen-boys-and-girls-magic-kingdom-fireworks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ditched<\/a> the phrase \u201cladies and gentlemen, boys and girls\u201d from its iconic fireworks show for not being \u201cinclusive\u201d enough.
