James Comer (R-KY), in which they announced they were beginning the investigation into President Joe Biden\u2019s son and his business dealings overseas. This has obviously rankled Democrats, who have been trying to run away from this story for over two years.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the press is working to protect the president\u2019s son, after having admitted they were lying when they pretended his laptop was nothing more than Russian disinformation. The <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-inflation-donald-trump-business-9af868065b776b21f81fa73e7bafb97d?utm_source=homepage&#038;utm_medium=TopNews&#038;utm_campaign=position_01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> published a report on Saturday claiming that Republicans have not provided evidence showing that President Joe Biden never discussed Hunter\u2019s business dealings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe Biden has said he\u2019s never spoken to his son about his foreign business, and nothing the Republicans have put forth suggests otherwise,\u201d the author wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Not surprisingly, this claim is false.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who heads the House Judiciary Committee, said in 2020 that Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter\u2019s, met with the president twice to discuss a business deal with CEFC China Energy Company. \u201cI directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the emails found on Hunter\u2019s laptop, he detailed the percentage distribution of equity in a company created to engage in a joint business endeavor with the Chinese energy company. It included \u201c10 held by H for the big guy,\u201d according to the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/05\/report-hunter-biden-grand-jury-witness-was-asked-about-the-big-guy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But even further, Joe Biden left a voice mail for his son regarding a <em>New York Times<\/em> story detailing the deal with CEFC. The president told his son, \u201cI think you\u2019re clear\u201d in referencing the business. This contradicted Joe Biden\u2019s previous statements that he had never spoken with his son about the family\u2019s business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey pal, it\u2019s Dad. It\u2019s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you,\u201d Joe Biden said in the voicemail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought the article released online, it\u2019s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you\u2019re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the activist media insists there is no \u201cthere\u201d there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/11\/16\/democratic-strategists-launch-war-room-00065498\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Politico<\/a> on Thursday published a piece in which the authors claimed that \u201cno evidence has publicly emerged that [Joe Biden\u2019s] decisions were affected by his son\u2019s business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/11\/19\/medias-latest-defense-joe-bidens-judgement-unaffected-hunters-business-deals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breitbart News<\/a> noted:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>At least 15 establishment media personalities suggested Hunter\u2019s laptop emails were likely Russian disinformation. CNN\u2019s Brian Stelter, who has since been fired, falsely claimed that \u201cU.S. authorities are seeing if those emails we just talked about are connected to an ongoing Russian disinformation effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So first, the laptop story was \u201cRussian disinformation.\u201d Then it was real, but not a big deal. Now, it\u2019s \u201cokay, it\u2019s kind of a big deal, but Biden had nothing to do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the evidence Republicans claim they possess might show more than has already been revealed. Indeed, McCarthy and Comer seem pretty confident that they have a smoking gun. If their belief is based on reality, they might just have enough to bring about a serious impeachment attempt against President Biden.
