had licensing agreements with NetEase since 2008, covering the publication of these Blizzard titles in China,\u201d they continued. \u201cThe two parties have not reached a deal to renew the agreements that is consistent with Blizzard\u2019s operating principles and commitments to players and employees, and the agreements are set to expire in January 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As such, Blizzard confirmed that they \u201cwill suspend new sales in the coming days and Chinese players will be receiving details of how this will work soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the company also emphasized that the \u201cupcoming releases for <em>World of Warcraft: Dragonflight<\/em>, <em>Hearthstone: March of the Lich King<\/em>, and season 2 of <em>Overwatch 2<\/em> will proceed later this year.<\/p>\n<div
