Oh, no, no no. Inquiring minds have had it up to <em>HERE<\/em> and it\u2019s time for public questioning and open discussion, even if we\u2019re short on answers at the end. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Body Cam Video Shows Paul Pelosi Opened Door for Police, Despite DOJ Saying Otherwise: Source <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/oFdLP0nVUm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/t.co\/oFdLP0nVUm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mollie (@MZHemingway) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MZHemingway\/status\/1593275674004963328?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On October 28th, word broke that Paul Pelosi had been violently attacked in their San Francisco home by an intruder, who (as I wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/hotair.com\/tree-hugging-sister\/2022\/10\/30\/on-pelosi-were-not-falling-for-the-right-wing-terrorist-in-the-tailpipe-joke-n506708\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about here<\/a>) was immediately spun up to be a right-wing terrorist spurred to action by Republican rhetoric and expressed conservative (read: <em>RACIST\/ELECTION DENYING\/EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO DEMOCRACY<\/em>) values. That narrative was quickly blown into smithereens by the well-documented history of suspect David DePape himself, but what was left unclear were pretty pertinent details of the incident itself, from the point where the police arrived. <\/p>\n<p>Initially reported <em>at the police press conference<\/em> as an \u201cunknown person\u201d opening the door for officers \u2013 leading everyone to question \u201cWho\u2019s this 3d person?\u201d \u2013 it was later clarified that Paul Pelosi himself opened the door. Who then walked away from officers, back to DePape, his about-to-become assailant.<\/p>\n<p>From that point forward the whole story goes to black A veritable information blockade was thrown up, apparently through the concerted and targeted efforts of the Pelosis, the media machine, command elements of the San Franciso Police Department and Department of Justice, with intense pressure applied to squelch any further discussion outside of the tightly controlled narrative Nancy Pelosi is dribbling to acceptable outlets.<\/p>\n<p>No doubt encouraged by the close proximity of the elections and their mostly successful efforts at stifling annoying, inquisitive Fox gadfly Jesse Watters (who <em>was<\/em> that person in the car with Paul when he crashed\u2026), I\u2019m sure there was a fair amount of confidence that they could snuff the life out of this, and, once again, remove Paul Pelosi from the public consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>But then a funny thing happened on the way to ForgotAllAboutThatVille. <\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, veteran reporter and Emmy winner Miguel Almaguer did a short update segment on the attack for the Today show. In it, he revealed some new, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/nbc-news-miguel-almaguer-hasnt-appeared-on-air-since-paul-pelosi-report-was-mysteriously-retracted\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">seemingly impeccably sourced<\/a>, material.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026The NBC News report attempted to answer lingering questions about the alleged home invasion that left Paul Pelosi with a fractured skull. Almaguer cited sources familiar with the situation who said the police didn\u2019t know they were responding to the Pelosi residence, <em><strong>Pelosi opened the door<\/strong> but didn\u2019t attempt to escape or declare an emergency, and even walked away from law enforcement and toward his eventual attacker<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Almaguer concluded his report by telling \u201cToday\u201d co-host Craig Melvin \u201cwe still don\u2019t know exactly what unfolded between Mr. Pelosi and the suspect for the 30 minutes they were alone inside that house before police arrive. Officials who are investigating this matter would not go into further details about these new details.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Within hours, NBC had deep-sixed all traces of the report, with no explanation for what exactly didn\u2019t \u201cmeet\u2026reporting standards.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026Later in the day as the segment gained prominence on Twitter, Almaguer\u2019s report was erased from all NBC News platforms. It was deleted from social media, and NBC News issued an editor\u2019s note on its website, reading, \u201cThis piece has been removed from publication because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear what specifically from Almaguer\u2019s report did not meet the network\u2019s \u201creporting standards.\u201d NBC refused to elaborate, and its digital platforms said the video \u201cexpired.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ten days later \u2013 amid complete radio silence from Almaguer from the moment of the report\u2019s takedown \u2013 The Daily Beast found out what had happened to him\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NBC News suspended correspondent Miguel Almaguer, the Daily Beast reported Monday, after he reported that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi&#8217;s (D., Calif.) husband Paul Pelosi was not in danger when police arrived at his home following a break-in last month.<br \/>&#8220;After a \u2018knock and ann\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IW1akuo4xj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/IW1akuo4xj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 theconservativeworld.com (@TheConsworld) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheConsworld\/status\/1592586834265182209?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 15, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u2026and their newsletter tripped up and said why.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Almaguer-1-730x355-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"730\" height=\"355\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-512013\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Almaguer-1-730x355-1.jpg 730w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Almaguer-1.jpg 976w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>His apparently <em>accurate<\/em> report that \u2013 <em>uh oh<\/em> \u2013 <strong>INFLAMED RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY THEORIES<\/strong> and, coincidentally, contradicted the Department of Justice account. Can\u2019t have the <em>TRUTH<\/em> if it does all that, can we? So there\u2019s NBC scrambling like mad dogs to pull the whole mess down, hoping it all goes away.<\/p>\n<p>But, see, it\u2019s not. Unbeknownst to the puppetmasters furiously working strings, the local NBC affiliate <em>IN<\/em> SF was doing some stellar reporting of their own at the same time, and it is still up.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcbayarea.com\/investigations\/body-cam-video-paul-pelosi-attack\/3076235\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> NBC Bay Area reporter Bigad Shaban<\/a> noticed the discrepancy between the DoJ version of events and the state investigators, and went digging, speaking to someone who had personally viewed the bodycam video of the police on the call.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Shaban learns the video \u201c<em>clearly shows Pelosi\u2019s hand opening the door<\/em>\u201d and that officers have a conversation with both men before Pelosi returns to DePape. There is also <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/thefirsttv\/fourth-watch-nov-17-22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this conversation<\/a> in the piece:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026Shaban then talks to SF DA Brooke Jenkins about why Pelosi \u201cdidn\u2019t run out of the house.\u201d \u201cAll we have is what happened. <em>Everybody reacts to situations differently. <strong>He will one day need to explain<\/strong>, potentially to a jury, why he did what he did<\/em>, and what thought process was going on in his mind,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>None of this in any way deviates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/nbc-bay-area-affiliates-report-paul-pelosi-attack-shares-key-details-retracted-today-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">from Almaguer\u2019s report<\/a>. When does the guy get his job back and a \u201cSorry about that\u201d?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026Some NBC insiders believe the report was squashed because it went against the mainstream narrative, while another NBC insider told Fox News Digital that the word inside the company is that a \u201cbiased\u201d source was used by Almaguer. Another insider said it was embarrassing for Almaguer\u2019s story to follow a \u201cconspiracy theory.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The cowards on air at NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/miguel-almaguer-not-getting-public-support-nbc-today-hosts-network-stays-silent-retracted-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aren\u2019t offering support<\/a> for their colleague either. Mum\u2019s the word.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NBC News\u2019 biggest stars, including at \u201cToday,\u201d have remained silent about the ongoing drama surrounding correspondent Miguel Almaguer, whose Nov. 4 report was retracted without explanation after it suggested Paul Pelosi may not have been in immediate danger when police arrived the night he was assaulted.<\/p>\n<p>NBC News political director Chuck Todd, \u201cNBC Nightly News\u201d anchor Lester Holt and \u201cToday\u201d hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb have all refrained from calling on their employer to provide an explanation. They haven\u2019t issued any public shows of support for Almaguer, either. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As my friend Stephen Green <a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/vodkapundit\/2022\/11\/17\/report-paul-pelosi-seen-opening-door-for-police-on-body-cam-video-as-originally-reported-n1646664\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said yesterday<\/a>,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026So why would NBC News scrub an awkward story about the husband of a House Speaker representing an embattled majority in the weeks before a midterm election to determine control of the House?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>To ask the question is to answer it.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>NBC\u2019s reflexive flinch blew life into the story as if they\u2019d used bellows on a wee pile of embers. <em>WHOOSH<\/em>! Their ham handed politically motivated CYA lit that sucker <em>off<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps \u2013 if I want to be speculative about it \u2013 besides losing Thor\u2019s hammer, this is also why Nancy Pelosi is leaving any position of Dem leadership. Maybe whatever is going on is too hard to keep buried. The Mr. has been in the news in a big way a number of times recently, and, as Watters calls them, the \u201cPelosi clean-up crew\u201d may have spent most available resources keeping a lid on the pot. <\/p>\n<p>This is a nice expos\u00e9 of the media clean-up chicanery for Paul\u2019s car wreck back in June. What the Speaker called \u201ca private matter.\u201d You know, since it was <em>hers<\/em>.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Don\u2019t think anything is changing, either. The Pelosi clean-up crews are still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/pelosi-spox-blasted-attacking-journalist-correctly-revealed-top-dem-step-down-leadership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">throwing her weight around<\/a>. I mean, just yesterday:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Pelosi spox blasted for attacking journalist who correctly reported top Dem would step down from leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Maybe Nancy\u2019s just tired of it all, the whole thug life. I get it.
