It is unclear what the scope of the special counsel\u2019s authority may be. The former president announced his run for president in 2024 just days ago from his home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,\u201d Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-trump-launches-third-bid-for-white-house\">said<\/a> during his announcement speech on Tuesday evening. \u201cI am running because I believe the world has not yet seen the true glory of what this nation can be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the probes Trump faces from the Department of Justice is over classified documents that the former president allegedly stored at his home in Mar-a-Lago. The FBI raided Trump\u2019s residence in August to secure the alleged documents as well as hundreds of other documents from his presidency.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a breaking story.
