The snap shows a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a coffee mug with the message on it that read, \u201cNBC News weather.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I\u2019ve been,\u201d Roker wrote. \u201cLast week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery,\u201d he added. \u201cThanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other hosts on the morning show shared their well wishes for the TV personality on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/ClGsC1kOKQs\/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY%3D\">Instagram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alroker\/status\/1593640751564480512?s=20&#038;t=ubsKfxmTM0Wlj7XVh6MHLg\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dylan Dreyer tweeted, \u201cLove you Al, and praying everyday for a speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Savannah Guthrie shared,\u201dYou\u2019re the strongest person we know. We miss you and will see you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLove you brother\u2026can\u2019t wait to have you back, \u201d\u00a0NBC host Craig Melvin tweeted.<\/p>\n<p>While Hoda Kotb wrote, \u201cAl Roker\u2026hurry back to us. counting the days xoxoxo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the Friday edition of the show, Guthrie told fans that Roker is \u201cin good spirits\u201d while Dreyer shared how incredible her cohost is, the \u201cToday\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/health\/anchors-send-love-al-roker-hospital-rcna57839\">show<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot that you need us to tell you how incredible Al is, the first time I called him, he immediately said, \u2018Hey Dilly-Dill!
