Large versions of the flag were also seen hanging throughout the building.<\/p>\n<p>Grindr made its initial public offering through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) called Tiga Acquisition Corporation. I am thrilled to work with our team and investors as we continue expanding our platform and enhance the critical social infrastructure for a traditionally underserved community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grindr users spent an average of 61 minutes on the app each day as of December 2021, according to the company, which earned $90 million in revenue during the first half of 2022. The company believes that there exists a $4 billion total addressable market for its services.<\/p>\n<p>The entrance of Grindr onto public markets occurs as acceptance for homosexuality and transgenderism has quickly risen among Americans. Earlier this year, a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/389792\/lgbt-identification-ticks-up.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> from Gallup indicated that nearly 21% of Generation Z and over 10% of Millennials identify as LGBT, while roughly 4% of Generation X and less than 3% of Baby Boomers indicate the same.<\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/350486\/record-high-support-same-sex-marriage.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> from Gallup found last year that a majority of Republicans expressed support for legal same-sex marriage for the first time in history. Twelve Republican members of the Senate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/senate-advances-same-sex-marriage-bill-with-some-gop-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">joined<\/a> their Democratic colleagues on Wednesday in a procedural vote to advance the Respect for Marriage Act, a piece of legislation that would codify same-sex marriage into federal law.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenatorRomney\/status\/1592978815890124801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> that he voted in favor of advancing the bill despite his personal belief in traditional marriage because Obergefell v. Hodges has been \u201cthe law of the land upon which LGBTQ people have relied.\u201d Though the former Republican presidential nominee added that he was satisfied with religious freedom protections included in the bill, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) remarked in another <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenMikeLee\/status\/1593000633954865153?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1593000633954865153%7Ctwgr%5E25353db1d07f622a0ebb595d228af91f6e7c8813%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Fsenate-advances-same-sex-marriage-bill-with-some-gop-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> that he voted against the motion because \u201creligious liberty protections\u201d were \u201cseverely anemic and largely illusory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Corporate America has likewise expressed support for LGBTQ ideology and engaged in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/disney-is-a-guest-in-florida-florida-lawmakers-consider-terminating-disneys-district\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pressure campaigns<\/a> against state governments that oppose the movement.
