It turns out we were right. The fox was guarding the henhouse, and because of that, voters have been disenfranchised,\u201d Lake said.<\/p>\n<p>She also addressed the \u201cprinter settings\u201d malfunctions on the tabulation machines that affected roughly 20% of polling places in Maricopa County, as Fox 10 Phoenix <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox10phoenix.com\/news\/election-2022-tabulation-issues-reported-at-some-maricopa-county-voting-sites\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>. Lake said she tried to get rid of all electronic voting equipment long before the 2022 midterms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we raised concerns and I filed a lawsuit months ago to get rid of the electronic voting machines, they said we were crazy. Well, it turns out we were right. Rest assured, I have assembled the best and brightest legal team and we are exploring every avenue to correct the many wrongs that have been done this past week,\u201d Lake continued. \u201cI\u2019m doing everything in my power to right these wrongs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy resolve to fight for you is higher than ever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lake\u2019s supporters on social media cheered her latest video, encouraging the candidate to take all available legal routes of recourse and never to give up. Her critics, on the other hand, let her have it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t stop what you\u2019re doing! This will have nationwide ramifications,\u201d one Twitter user <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/americangirl75\/status\/1593252961693487104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another user <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dylpick85\/status\/1593253601123581956\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a>, \u201cYes, being a child throwing a tantrum will have nationwide ramifications of mocking and laughter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On November 14, after Hobbs was declared the winner, Lake called the results \u201cBS\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/news-and-politics\/matt-margolis\/2022\/11\/15\/networks-declare-katie-hobbs-winner-kari-lake-calls-bs-n1645903\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a tweet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Maricopa County election officials have also pushed back against Lake and her campaign\u2019s claims that thousands of Arizona voters didn\u2019t get a fair shake on Election Day. The county\u2019s official Twitter account posted several snarky messages about Lake\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCANDIDATES: All legal votes will be counted, including votes for you. If you have the most votes in the final tally, you will be elected. If you do not have the most votes, you will have lost your election,\u201d one tweet read.<\/p>\n<p>Another tweet read, \u201cDISINFORMATION SUPER SPREADERS: Please read Arizona election law &#038; the elections procedures manual before asking leading questions about how something seems suspicious. There are processes + checks and balances in place to make sure every legal vote is only counted once.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maricopa County (@maricopacounty) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maricopacounty\/status\/1591527779908325376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of Thursday\u2019s count, Hobbs had a lead of roughly 17,000 votes, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/11\/17\/lake-refuses-to-concede-indicates-possible-legal-challenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Axios also noted that while Lake\u2019s legal team\u2019s plans are unclear at this time, any lawsuits contesting the results would likely need to be filed before Nov. 28, which is the cut-off date for counties to certify their election results and then transmit them to the secretary of state\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Only time will tell if Lake and her legal team make any headway.
