On Leno\u2019s right arm, there appeared to be less bandaging.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jay Leno treated inside hyperbaric chamber after suffering third-degree burns <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6Tg8pzocFo\">https:\/\/t.co\/6Tg8pzocFo<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KIrdkOvPhM\">pic.twitter.com\/KIrdkOvPhM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 New York Post (@nypost) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypost\/status\/1593292435580485637?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the interview,\u00a0Dr. Peter Grossman, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Los Angeles, explained the importance of undergoing the treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt helps decrease swelling, it helps increase blood flow with good oxygenation, and it helps decrease bacteria,\u201d Grossman told the outlet. \u201cHe\u2019s [Leno\u2019s] had skin grafts that are not his own, meaning the skin we have from a skin bank and from donor skin, that\u2019s what we do as a first stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Earlier that day, Leno\u2019s doctor told reports that the former late-night talk show host was in \u201cgood condition\u201d after having \u201csignificant burns to his face and hands and chest\u201d and required a \u201csurgical excision and grafting procedure,\u201d as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jay-lenos-doctor-gives-update-after-comedian-suffers-significant-burns-in-car-fire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Wire<\/a> previously reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe [Leno] seems to be a gentleman who really doesn\u2019t want to make a big deal of this,\u201d Grossman shared, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/jay-lenos-doctor-gives-update-after-suffered-serious-burns-gasoline-fire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>. \u201cHe wants to get back to work, that\u2019s what he does.
