Ho Ho Ho! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4kKGI6Siw1\">pic.twitter.com\/4kKGI6Siw1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tim Allen (@ofctimallen) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ofctimallen\/status\/1590578922156007425?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>Allen Putting \u2018Christ\u2019 Back In Christmas<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Allen, 69, made it clear to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/the-santa-clauses-christianity-tim-allen-disney-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Wrap<\/a>\u00a0that with this fourth installment of his\u00a0<em>The Santa Clause\u00a0<\/em>film series, he wanted it to be faith-based.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow exactly religion will come into play remains unclear, especially considering the original trilogy of films never explicitly went in that direction,\u201d Andi Ortiz wrote for the publication. \u201cBut, according to Allen, it was important to him that \u2018The Santa Clauses\u2019 did, and avoided any kind of crazy creatures or spirits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt originally had a lot of otherworldly characters, and ghosts, and goblins. I said no, this is Christ-mas. Its\u00a0<em>Christ<\/em>-mas. It literally is a religious holiday,\u201d Allen said. \u201cWe don\u2019t have to blow trumpets, but I do want you to acknowledge it. That\u2019s what this is about. And Jack Burditt was also the writer of that, that he is with us. And it\u2019s not easy for him or for me,\u201d he explained. \u201cI write, I\u2019ve written movies and I\u2019m really the plot guy. So that\u2019s kind of where I\u2019m at with this. And I get very confused with too much detail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI need to know where we\u2019re going at the end of <em>this<\/em> beat. And it took quite a bit of massaging from both the Disney folks and Jack to get chapter one \u2014 which I call [this] a six-chapter book \u2014 I needed that to launch this thing,\u201d Allen continued. \u201cRespect the last one and let\u2019s not be too gamey with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TheSantaClauses?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#TheSantaClauses<\/a> are coming to town!
