This coincides with the reality of turkey \u2014 a staple of a traditional Thanksgiving meal \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/10\/25\/turkey-prices-set-to-soar-thanksgiving\/\"><span>soaring<\/span><\/a> in price, just in time for the holiday. Turkey and non-chicken poultry are up 16.9 percent, as are other Thanksgiving staples, including pie (up 18.6 percent), rolls and biscuits (up 13.6 percent), butter (up 26.7 percent), and gravy (up 14.6 percent), as Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/11\/10\/the-bidenflation-thanksgiving-bust-prices-soar-for-turkeys-potatoes-biscuits-butter-and-gravy\/\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_22172853\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/cutting-butter-baking-cooking-stock-photo-getty.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-22172853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/cutting-butter-baking-cooking-stock-photo-getty.jpg\" alt=\"Close up over the shoulder shot of an anonymous young woman preparing cream for a cake over a kitchen stove at home\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">(miniseries\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/financebuzz.com\/thanksgiving-survey\"><span>asked<\/span><\/a> how, specifically, the rising cost of food will impact Thanksgiving, most, 57 percent, said it will prompt them to look for sales at grocery stores, while 31 percent said they will use coupons more than usual. About 24 percent said they will buy cheaper ingredients, and 21 percent said they will shop at less expensive grocery stores altogether. One in five \u2014 20 percent \u2014 said they \u201cmay cut back on food,\u201d 15 percent said they will ask guests to bring more food, and 15 percent said they will have \u201cfewer\u201d guests.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p3\">Only 14 percent said they do not expect rising prices to affect their Thanksgiving. But ultimately, the 86 percent of Americans who said rising prices will impact their holiday meal is up from the 63 percent who said the same last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The survey was taken in October among 1,500 U.S. adults.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/10\/15\/bidens-america-1-4-americans-skip-thanksgiving-save-money\/\">coincides<\/a> with a recent Personal Capital survey, which found one in five Americans remain unsure if they will be able to cover the cost of the holiday meal this year in President Biden\u2019s America. Further, one quarter said they will skip the holiday altogether this year:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\">The state of economic affairs in President Joe Biden\u2019s America is affecting Americans\u2019 holiday plans.\u00a0According to the survey, one quarter of Americans are planning to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.personalcapital.com\/blog\/personal-finance\/holiday-spending-thanksgiving-edition-personal-capital\/\"><span>skip<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Thanksgiving this year to save money, and one in five \u201cdoubted they would have enough money to cover the costs of Thanksgiving this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">More specifically, one-third expect their 2022 Thanksgiving dinner to be \u201csmaller,\u201d and 45 percent, overall, said they are \u201cfinically stressed\u201d by Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Further, Americans plan to take action to cut the cost of the celebration. Thirty-six percent plan to use coupons, 32 percent plan to compare prices, 28 percent will skip traveling, and another 28 percent plan to buy a smaller turkey.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\">Following the midterm elections, when Republicans are expected to take the House, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/11\/09\/watch-biden-says-he-will-do-nothing-different-after-midterm-election-result\/\"><span>stated<\/span><\/a> clearly that he does not intend to do anything differently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">When Zeke Miller of the Associated Press asked the President what he planned \u201cto do differently to change people\u2019s opinion of the direction of the country,\u201d Biden replied:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\">Nothing. Because they\u2019re just finding out what we\u2019re doing. The more they know about what we\u2019re doing, the more support there is. Do you know anybody who wants us to get rid of the change we made on prescription drug prices and raise prices again? Do you know anyone who wants us to walk away from building roads and bridges and the Internet and so on?
