Nobody would believe that.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cThen they [Biden] said \u2018we\u2019re going to give you amnesty for marijuana conviction,&#8217;\u201d he added. \u2018Oh, who cares about that it won\u2019t effect that many people.\u2019 Or \u2018these people are going to take abortion away from you.\u2019 And those issues for that rubric and they\u2019re galvanized on the campuses \u2026 they just were overwhelmingly deleterious the Republican cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hanson told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/no-one-will-miss-her-megyn-kelly-political-commentators-react-to-msnbc-host-being-dropped\">Kelly<\/a> that even the president\u2019s move before the election by \u201cdraining the strategic petroleum reserve,\u201d which he said probably brought gas prices down about ten cents a gallon, \u201capparently might\u2019ve worked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo what we consider pandering and demagoguery,\u201d the political commentator added. \u201cOr whoever believed that \u2018Phantom of the Opera\u2019 speech that Biden gave that was so obnoxious and repellent, that actually worked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hanson stopped short of repeating the idea that the only way to win in 2024 is to get rid of former President Donald Trump and said\u00a0that Biden pushed his \u201ceffective propaganda\u201d that Trump or those that support the former president were \u201cun-American\u201d or an \u201celection denialist\u201d or \u201csemi-fascist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you are on the other side saying Joe Biden is \u2018non compos mentis\u2026and it\u2019s all an attack on Biden,\u201d Hanson added. \u201cAnd they\u2019re saying \u2018these people attack, they attack\u2019, then it becomes even more important to have a positive message\u2026They [GOP] thought by attacking Joe Biden in negative terms, all justified and all true, they were going to reduce him into a caricature of a caricture. But what it did was it amplified the Democrat message that \u2018these people are shrill and they are angry. And they disrupt elections.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also said the party really needs someone like late-President Ronald Reagan that will appeal to all Republicans, noting that the person will have to appeal to not just those who came on board and supported people like late-Sen. John McCain or Sen.
