Lauren Boebert and her Democratic challenger, Adam Frisch, could head to a recount if the current margins hold.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">Boebert, who won election to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/politics\/house-of-representatives\/republicans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House of Representatives<\/a> in 2020 after defeating former GOP Rep. Scott Tipton in the Republican primaries, was ahead by just over 1,100 votes on Saturday afternoon, according to election data from The Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p>The margin of Boebert&#8217;s lead is within recount territory under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/us\/us-regions\/west\/colorado\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Colorado election<\/a> laws. The state conducts a mandatory recount if the margin of victory is within half a percentage point, and in the most recent tally on Saturday, Boebert led with 50.17% of the vote to Frisch&#8217;s 49.83%.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/boebert-inches-ahead-colorado-votes-continue-tallied\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>BOEBERT INCHES AHEAD AS COLORADO VOTES CONTINUE TO BE TALLIED<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-ct inline\">\n<div class=\"m\"><source media=\"(max-width: 767px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 767px) and (max-width: 1023px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1024px) and (max-width: 1279px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1280px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a57.foxnews.com\/static.foxnews.com\/foxnews.com\/content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/640\/320\/GettyImages-1241349766.jpg?ve=1&#038;tl=1\" alt=\"Rep. Ebenhack, File)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/trump-rips-colorado-new-hampshire-gop-candidates-losses-wavering-loyalty-2020-election\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>TRUMP RIPS COLORADO, NEW HAMPSHIRE GOP CANDIDATES AFTER LOSSES FOR WAVERING LOYALTY ON 2020 ELECTION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Frisch also said the ballots may not come in until next week, and asked for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/politics\/elections\/midterm-elections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">donations to his campaign<\/a> to &#8220;make sure every valid ballot is counted.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Frisch did not immediately return Fox News Digital&#8217;s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Boebert &#8220;As this race comes down to every last vote, I need you to help us ensure we have the resources to finish what we started!&#8221; Boebert tweeted Friday. &#8220;I told you all year, the Left would do everything that they possibly could to get rid of me,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Boebert outraised Frisch in the general election campaign by a large margin, bringing in nearly $6.6 million, compared to Frisch&#8217;s $3.7 million as of mid-October, according to campaign finance filings.<\/p>\n<p>Frisch ran against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/person\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump-endorsed Republican<\/a> firebrand by painting himself as a moderate choice, calling Boebert &#8220;part of the MAGA extremism.<strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/apps-products?pid=AppArticleLink\"><strong><u>CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boebert, who founded Shooters Restaurant in Rifle, Colorado \u2014 which became famous for its gun-toting waitresses \u2014 campaigned on her conservative message, and criticized Frisch for being out of touch with most voters in the district, which includes mostly rural towns in the west and southwest of Colorado.
