Ron DeSantis (R.) prevailed by a 20-point margin &#8220;because he gamed the system.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think [DeSantis&#8217;s victory is] being completely misread; I think the narrative is all wrong,&#8221; Navarro, a commentator for CNN and cohost of\u00a0<em>The View<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tv\/cnns-ana-navarro-claims-ron-desantis-won-by-20-points-because-he-gamed-the-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> Wednesday on the network.\u00a0 Navarro suggested DeSantis&#8217;s narrow victory over Democrat Andrew Gillum in 2018 was evidence that his commanding win over Democrat Charlie Crist this week was the result of a rigged election.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yesterday, [DeSantis] won by 20 percentage points,&#8221; Navarro said. &#8220;Why? Because he gamed the system. Because he turned Florida into an unlevel playing field. They changed election laws, making it harder to vote by mail. They paraded a bunch of people, black people that they arrested for voting fraud, and paraded them in front of national media. He created an election police.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Navarro&#8217;s allegation of a rigged election comes after she has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tv\/ana-navarro-in-tense-exchange-checks-sunny-hostin-on-her-claim-that-the-view-forbids-election-deniers-we-have-ted-cruz-coming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">frequently<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/sg.news.yahoo.com\/ana-navarro-unleashes-stephanie-grisham-232139013.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">criticized<\/a> Republicans who she says have pushed the &#8220;big lie&#8221; that the 2020 presidential election was stolen through fraud.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?lang=en&#038;q=%22big%20lie%22%20(from%3Aananavarro)&#038;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has tweeted<\/a> numerous times about the &#8220;big lie,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ananavarro\/status\/1525484668111446017?s=20&#038;t=-WhM1tuuKdTx9ZJu_ruJ0Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accusing<\/a> those who question election results of destroying &#8220;the trust of the American people&#8221; in democracy.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, DeSantis secured a <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/elections\/florida-republicans-historic-performance-by-the-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">historically dominant<\/a> victory in Florida even as Republicans fell short of expectations nationally.
