I am choosing to ignore the endorsements of the club members for a club member and vote for better leadership. I encourage you to do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Sarandos cited several issues motivating his decision to back Caruso: rampant homelessness, skyrocketing crime, shrinking law enforcement, and city corruption. He also described Caruso as \u201cthe Democrat I\u2019ve been waiting for, one with a plan and a track record of accomplishing impossible tasks in California and Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe city is at an inflection point. This election is the most important in memory,\u201d Sarandos wrote.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_22541578\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ted-sarandos-ad.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-22541578\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ted-sarandos-ad.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"1087\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>THR.com<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sarandos\u2019 endorsement represents a seismic shock in left-wing Hollywood, which has aligned almost unanimously behind far-left Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA). While Bass\u00a0has won the endorsements of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, she is currently tied with Caruso in polls, suggesting a nail-biter finish on midterm Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">As Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/10\/23\/poll-rick-caruso-catches-karen-bass-in-race-for-l-a-mayor-as-voting-begins\/\">reported<\/a>, Caruso now leads Bass 39.8 percent to 36.8 percent, which is within the 4.9% margin of error\u00a0in the poll conducted by J. Wallin Opinion Research.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Last year, Sarandos\u2019 mother-in-law Jacqueline Avant \u2014 the wife of famed music executive Clarence Avant \u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2021\/12\/01\/california-crime-wave-jacqueline-avant-wife-of-music-exec-clarence-avant-killed-in-home-invasion-robbery\/\">was\u00a0killed in a home invasion robbery<\/a> in an exclusive Beverly Hills neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Crime in Los Angeles has exploded in the past two years under Democrat leadership, especially George Soros-backed District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n, who pledged to\u00a0enact so-called criminal justice \u201creform,\u201d which has included a refusal to prosecute a range of crimes such as trespassing, resisting arrest, drug possession, and making criminal threats.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, homicides in the city of L.A. surged to their highest level in 15 years in 2021, the first year of Gasc\u00f3n\u2019s tenure as county DA.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Follow David Ng on Twitter\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HeyItsDavidNg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">@HeyItsDavidNg<\/a>.
