Like I&#8217;m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,&#8221; Musk said in May.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now this election I will,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Musk\u2019s tweet comes as Republican candidates in key states have either taken the lead or have come within striking distance of their Democrat counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>In Arizona\u2019s Senate race, incumbent Mark Kelly is up just one point, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/az\/arizona-senate-masters-vs-kelly-7390.html\">RealClearPolitics\u2019 average<\/a> of polls. In the state\u2019s gubernatorial race, Republican candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/governor\/az\/arizona_governor_lake_vs_hobbs-7842.html\">Kari Lake<\/a> is up 1.8 points.<\/p>\n<p>In Pennsylvania, GOP Senate candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/pa\/pennsylvania_senate_oz_vs_fetterman-7695.html\">Mehmet Oz<\/a> is up 0.1 percent over Democrat John Letterman. In a poll from <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-new-trafalgar-pa-poll-shows-mastriano-and-shapiro-in-tight-race-for-governor-gap-has-narrowed-in-final-weeks\">Trafalgar<\/a>, Republican candidate Doug Mastriano is down just 4.3 points.<\/p>\n<p>In the blue state of New York, gubernatorial incumbent Kathy Hochul holds a 6.2 point lead over Lee Zeldin, who has quickly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/governor\/ny\/new_york_governor_zeldin_vs_hochul-7749.html\">closed the gap<\/a> ahead of Election Day.
