It was birthed less than two weeks after Hunter Biden accompanied his father, the then-Vice President, on a trip to China.<\/p>\n<p>A now-deleted post to the Thornton Group\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20131203105826\/http:\/\/www.thorntonai.com\/chinese\/newscount.asp?ArticleID=295\">website<\/a> titled \u201c<span class=\"text14\">Thornton Group visits Luxi Chemical<\/span>,\u201d originally posted on May 10th, 2015, details the consultancy\u2019s work with Luxi Chemical.<\/p>\n<p>Luxi Chemical is a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.luxichemical.com\/Profile.html\">state<\/a>-owned enterprise in China manufacturing chemical products, particularly fertilizer.<\/p>\n<p>The webpage reveals that leaders from the two groups met to plan \u201ccooperation\u201d on a \u201clarge-scale high-quality potash mine project in the United States,\u201d allowing the Chinese company to \u201cimport a large amount of red potassium from the United States every year\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe two parties had a sincere and friendly conversation on the cooperation of a large-scale high-quality potash mine project in the United States, and happily reached the long-term cooperation intention of Luhua Group to import a large amount of red potassium from the United States every year. Red potassium is the main raw material for the production of compound fertilizers. The stability of raw materials is very important. Luxi Chemical Group has been eager to find a stable source of imported goods.
