I mean, like, think about it, like, think about how wrapped up, how easy it is to get wrapped up and not be exactly sure what thoughts are your own, from looking at your f***ing phone,\u201d Santo responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd to have a group of people that you identify with that have a very specific ideology that they support,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cAnd if you\u2019re on that side, you must support that ideology. So when certain things come up, you just say, \u2018Yes, this is what I\u2019m supposed to say.\u2019 And you haven\u2019t thought about it. And then it\u2019s quietly when people are alone, they go, \u2018I don\u2019t know about this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>SUZANNE SANTO: What\u2019s sad is that I used to really be so scared to talk about this stuff. And like, now I\u2019m at this point where like, I got nothing to lose. I mean, like, I don\u2019t, it\u2019s just like, having logical conversations around this stuff. Feelings are not facts. Like, they\u2019re just, they\u2019re\u00a0not. And the way that, you know, people are running rampant with their emotions, and ruining their lives, as well as others, you know, is so dangerous. And I really want to be able to have conversations and also be wrong and be like, scientifically told that I\u2019m incorrect, you know, around all this stuff. But it\u2019s, it\u2019s so sad. I mean, people are so angry. And you know, yeah, it\u2019s just social contagions and mental illness.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>JOE ROGAN: And it\u2019d be really weird if we find out this was engineered. It\u2019s very similar to a cult. Yeah, it\u2019s very similar to a lot of, you know, mental contagions. Because that does happen with people, that\u2019s, you know, we\u2019re a f***ing very strange species, we\u2019re very easily influenced and malleable. And we\u2019re also like, very hardline, and, like, when we believe something, we want other people to believe it. We want to form, we want to win that argument, win that argument, that my idea is the best idea.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>SANTO: I don\u2019t feel that way. I\u2019m not, I\u2019m not, I mean, I just want to have a good time. Like, I just want to, like, I want to give love, receive love, enjoy my life experience. If there\u2019s hard conversations that need to be had, I am not the most intelligent person in the room. So I\u2019m going to learn and I\u2019m going to listen. But, you know, in my own personal life experience, I can speak eloquently and, you know, powerfully on my own side of the street, but with this stuff, like, that\u2019s where, like, I reading James Lindsay and Douglas Murray and Gad Saad. Like, they are so brilliant.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>ROGAN: Logical intellectuals.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>SANTO: Logical, critical thinking.
