In 2021, coal provided nearly a third of all the state&#8217;s electricity, the largest share of all energy sources.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Washington Free Beacon\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/elections\/were-all-struggling-michigan-voters-head-to-election-day-with-winter-on-their-minds\/\">previously reported<\/a> that Michigan voters named energy costs a top concern ahead of Tuesday&#8217;s Election Day.
