According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summit.org\/poll-transgender-agenda-amongst-youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent poll<\/a>, the majority of Americans have had enough of radicalized policies and practices promoting gender dysphoria.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with McLaughlin and Associates, Summit.org <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summit.org\/poll-transgender-agenda-amongst-youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published data<\/a> last week from a mid-October, nationwide survey questioning Americans on the transgender agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Three in four respondents (75 percent) agreed the movement has \u201cgone too far\u201d by encouraging minors to use drugs and surgery to alter the hormones and organs that reflect their sex. But cultural silencing on transgender issues has been a powerful motivator, leading 41 percent of participants who reported having an opinion to keep their views quiet, even amongst friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe transgender movement may have set out to prevent bullying, but it has evolved into an attack on reality,\u201d said Jeff Myers, president of Summit Ministries. \u201cSevering the connection to reality is the first thing people do when they want to control what others think and do. If you can get children to look at boys and girls and say there is no difference, you can convince them of anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of the participants who weighed in on the cause of rising instances of sexual confusion among minors, 69 percent blamed social media and \u201cother cultural influences.\u201d An even higher percentage (70 percent) of those polled who expressed an opinion believe the medical industry is promoting sex surgeries and hormones for profit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe medical issue is daunting,\u201d Myers said. \u201cThe current transgender standards of care include using unapproved drugs to \u2018pause\u2019 puberty, administering untested cross-sex hormones, and even recommending permanently disfiguring surgeries.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This untested and off-label prescription of drugs to youth by big-name pharmaceutical companies has come under investigation in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasattorneygeneral.gov\/news\/releases\/ag-paxton-investigate-promotion-puberty-blockers-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Texas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/community-family\/blackburn-doctor-profits-transgender-surgeries-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tennessee<\/a>. But with billions of dollars in profits at stake, conservative lawmakers need big wins at the polls next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransgender medicine is moving in the same direction as opioids, where the medical industry has pushed to create consensus to make money,\u201d Myers said. Just as overprescribing opioids in the 2000s led to record-high dependence and addiction, the side effects of elective amputations and hormone injections are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/fairness-justice\/follow-the-money-medical-experts-are-mutilating-gender-confused-people-because-its-profitable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disastrous and long-term<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration has thrown its full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/03\/31\/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-advances-equality-and-visibility-for-transgender-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">political support behind<\/a> sterilizing and deforming surgeries for minors claiming to be <a href=\"https:\/\/heartlanddailynews.com\/2022\/09\/cdc-promotes-teen-chat-rooms-on-lgbt-youth-resources-webpage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transgender<\/a>, too.
