And I want you to vote for us, and we\u2019ll make it worse, but we\u2019ll blame them.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of Clinton\u2019s rule of politics is \u2014 and I\u2019ve got a dozen of \u2019em, I used to share them all the time to try to lighten things up and also enlighten them \u2014 if you scratch nearly anybody long enough there\u2019s still a person down there somewhere,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd the Republicans have developed a theory of making everybody feel like a victim they think they can get to vote for them. Everybody\u2019s a threat. It\u2019s always their fault. It\u2019s an us and them world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clinton\u2019s claim that the GOP wants voters to feel like victims comes as the Democratic Party has clung to identity politics for decades, appealing to various groups that they claim have been victimized, including blacks, LGBT people, and other minorities.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton did admit one kernel of truth, acknowledging, \u201cHere\u2019s the truth; we do have too much inflation and we do have too much crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clinton\u2019s claim that the GOP prefers an \u201cus and them\u201d world has tremendous irony, as President Joe Biden has resorted to divisive language during his presidency. In early September, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/f-joe-biden-biden-heckled-during-dark-and-divisive-speech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">delivered a speech<\/a> that was decried for its dark view of America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToo much of what\u2019s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,\u201d Biden said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. And that is a threat to this country,\u201d Biden continued. \u201cMAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth, but in the shadow of lies. Together, we can choose a different path.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe whiplash between Biden\u2019s characterization of his political opponents and his calls for \u2018unity\u2019 aren\u2019t hypocrisy,\u201d political commentator Inez Stepman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-slammed-across-political-spectrum-for-optics-of-divisive-speech-satanic-ghoul\">asserted<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s communicating that we \u2013 those who [dis]agree with his party \u2013 are outside the body politic and the bonds of citizenship.
