Fauci\u2019s is slated for November, according to a notice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2022\/11\/breaking-dr-fauci-deposed-november-23rd-missouri-louisiana-social-media-collusion-case-gateway-pundits-jim-hoft-plaintiff\/\">made public<\/a> by The Gateway Pundit, one of the plaintiffs.<\/p>\n<p>The ruling means the three contested depositions will happen unless the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit approves the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23246154-appeal-of-deposition-order\">writ of mandamus<\/a> that the administration recently filed.<\/p>\n<p>The writ asks the appeals court to vacate Doughty\u2019s deposition order with regards to Murthy, Easterly, and Flaherty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough mandamus relief is \u2018drastic and extraordinary,\u2019 it is warranted where, as here, there is \u2018no other adequate means to attain\u2019 the necessary relief; \u2018the writ is appropriate under the circumstances,\u2019 including because the issues implicated have \u2018importance beyond the immediate case,\u2019 and the district court \u2018clearly and indisputably erred,&#8217;\u201d government lawyers said in the writ, quoting from a ruling in a separate case.<\/p>\n<p>A response to the filing is due on Nov. 7.<\/p>\n<div class=\"author_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"one_author_block round\">\n<div class=\"top_row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/author-zachary-stieber\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/WEB_ZacharyStieber-1.jpg\" alt=\"Zachary Stieber\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Zachary Stieber covers U.S. and world news for The Epoch Times.
