Lies repeated over and over that generate a cycle of anger, hate, vitriol, and even violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden claimed that the \u201coverwhelming majority of Americans believe our democracy is at risk, that our democracy is under threat\u201d because \u201cthe defeated former President of the United States refused to accept the results of the 2020 election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden said that Trump\u2019s claims were \u201can article of faith in the MAGA Republican Party\u201d and that \u201cextreme MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections, but elections being held now and into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe extreme MAGA element of the Republican Party, which is a minority [of] that party as I said earlier, but is its driving force, is trying to succeed where they failed in 2020, to suppress the right of voters and subvert the electoral system itself,\u201d Biden claimed without evidence. \u201cThat means denying your right to vote and deciding whether your vote even counts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of waiting until the election is over, they\u2019re starting well before it,\u201d Biden claimed. \u201cThey\u2019re starting now. They\u2019ve emboldened violence and intimidation of voters and Election Officials. It\u2019s estimated that there are more than 300 election deniers on the ballot all across America this year. We can\u2019t ignore the impact this is having on our country. It\u2019s damaging, is corrosive, and it\u2019s destructive. And I want to be very clear, this is not about me. It\u2019s about all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After repeatedly demonizing Republicans, Biden then said, \u201cWe need to start looking out for each other again.
