Only one of the 33 listed payments \u2014 disbursed on September 26, 2022 \u2014 was described in the subject line as \u201cchildcare expenses (campaign related).\u201d The largest single payment \u2014 totaling over $11,000 \u2014 was made directly to Warnock himself and was described as \u201cchildcare reimbursement.\u201d The others were simply described as \u201cchildcare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Warnock has previously faced criticism after a report revealed that his church <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/i-will-pay-herschel-walker-responds-after-bomb-drops-on-raphael-warnock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">owned a building<\/a> in a low income housing area, and had moved to evict a number of tenants during the pandemic over back rent amounts as low as $28.55.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNEW: Records obtained by @FreeBeacon reveal Raphael Warnock\u2019s church, which pays him a $7417 monthly housing allowance, secretly owns a low-income apartment building that tried to evict residents during the pandemic,\u201d The Washington Free Beacon\u2019s Andrew Kerr reported. \u201cOne for just $28.55 in late rent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Since early 2020, 12 eviction lawsuits have been filed against residents of Columbia Tower at MLK Village, which Warnock&#8217;s church owns 99% of.<\/p>\n<p>The average rent owed by the residents clocked in at just $125 a month.<\/p>\n<p>The building has received over $15 million in taxpayer funding.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Andrew Kerr (@AndrewKerrNC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewKerrNC\/status\/1579803767582887936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 11, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince early 2020, 12 eviction lawsuits have been filed against residents of Columbia Tower at MLK Village, which Raphael Warnock\u2019s church owns 99% of,\u201d Kerr continued. \u201cThe average rent owed by the residents clocked in at just $125 a month.
