Scott also said Republicans have an opportunity to flip up to five more seats in contested Senate races around the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo which battleground states do you think Republicans will win on Election Day?\u201d host Dana Bash asked. \u201cHow many Senate seats will the GOP control next year?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to get 52-plus,\u201d Scott responded. \u201cHerschel Walker will win Georgia. We\u2019re going to keep all 21 of ours. Oz is going to win against Fetterman in Pennsylvania. And Adam Laxalt will win in Nevada. But I think we have every reason to believe we can pick up with Blake Masters in Arizona, with Don Bolduc [in New Hampshire]. I will be going to New Hampshire today. I think Don Bolduc has every reason to believe he\u2019s going to win. But we have got shots in \u2014 with Tiffany Smiley in Washington, Joe O\u2019Dea in Colorado, Leora Levy in Connecticut.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our year,\u201d Scott added. \u201cThe Democrats can\u2019t run on anything they have done. People don\u2019t like what they have done. They don\u2019t like high inflation. They don\u2019t like gas prices, food prices up. They don\u2019t like an\u2026 open border. They don\u2019t like high crime. And that\u2019s what the Democrats are known for. I mean, they have done all these things. Democrats did it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/ga\/georgia-senate-walker-vs-warnock-7329.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Walker<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/nv\/nevada_senate_laxalt_vs_cortez_masto-7392.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laxalt<\/a> are leading in their respective races, according to the RCP average of polls. In Pennsylvania, a survey from InsiderAdvantage showed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/docs\/2022\/InsiderAdvantage_Penn_Oct_27_2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oz<\/a> with a 2.7-point lead over Democrat John Fetterman.<\/p>\n<p>In Arizona, a poll from the Data for Progress showed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.filesforprogress.org\/datasets\/2022\/10\/dfp_az_midterm_tabs.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Masters<\/a> tied with incumbent Democrat Mark Kelly.<\/p>\n<p>A poll from InsiderAdvantage and American Greatness showed <a href=\"https:\/\/amgreatness.com\/2022\/10\/24\/republican-don-bolduc-in-dead-heat-with-democrat-maggie-hassan-in-new-hampshire-u-s-senate-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bolduc<\/a> just 1 point behind incumbent Democrat Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n<p>In Washington, a poll from the Trafalgar Group showed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrafalgargroup.org\/news\/wa-sen-1029\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Smiley<\/a> trailing incumbent Democrat Patty Murray by just 1.2 points.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/co\/colorado_senate_odea_vs_bennet-7773.html#polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O\u2019Dea<\/a> lags incumbent Democrat Michael Bennet in recent polling in Colorado, while in Connecticut, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/senate\/ct\/connecticut_senate_levy_vs_blumenthal-7686.html#polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Levy<\/a> trails Richard Blumenthal by double digits.<\/p>\n<p>While Scott is bullish on the GOP\u2019s chances to take the Senate, Democratic Majority Leader <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/schumer-warns-biden-on-hot-mic-that-democrats-are-vulnerable-in-key-state-were-in-danger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chuck Schumer<\/a> (D-NY) recently sounded the alarm about his party\u2019s chances on a hot mic with President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat seat, we\u2019re in danger in that seat,\u201d Schumer told Biden. \u201cIt\u2019s close. We\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was not immediately clear what seat he was referring to.
