The celebrity heart surgeon showed footage from the debate on what appeared to be a video billboard truck as Biden courted donors for Fetterman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPennsylvanians deserve to see this debate as much as possible since John Fetterman ducked six others,\u201d Oz campaign communications director Brittany Yanick said in a statement. \u201cHe won\u2019t be able to escape it during his fundraiser with the inflator-in-chief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"und\">\ud83d\udc40 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q6CXcLIUnZ\">pic.twitter.com\/q6CXcLIUnZ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dr. Mehmet Oz (@DrOz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DrOz\/status\/1586116614096769024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many residents of Philadelphia may indeed have missed the debate. Nexstar Media Group, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexstar.tv\/nexstar-to-host-debate-us-senate-from-pa-on-oct-25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broadcast<\/a> the exchange on stations throughout the commonwealth, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/politics\/pennsylvania\/verizon-nexstar-pennsylvania-senate-debate-john-fetterman-mehmet-oz-20221025.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disputing<\/a> with Verizon regarding a new distribution agreement. Verizon blacked out several Nexstar stations in Pennsylvania earlier this month, although the debate was also available to view for free on the websites belonging to Nexstar stations.<\/p>\n<p>Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/10\/08\/us\/politics\/fetterman-pennsylvania-senate-race.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emerged victorious<\/a> in the commonwealth two years ago because of college-educated voters, many of whom reside near the City of Brotherly Love.<\/p>\n<p>During the fundraiser, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2022\/10\/28\/remarks-by-president-biden-at-a-pennsylvania-democratic-party-reception\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lauded<\/a> Fetterman\u2019s \u201cenormous integrity\u201d and galvanized support for the struggling candidate from fellow Democrats. \u201cJohn has got a lot of experience serving the state as mayor and then as lieutenant governor. And he leaves nobody behind. John leaves nobody behind, whether it\u2019s building an economy that works for everyone, keeping communities safe, protecting your rights and freedoms,\u201d Biden said. \u201cYou know who he is, you know where he stands, and you also know John is Pennsylvania.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roughly three-quarters of voters in Philadelphia County are registered with the Democratic Party, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dos.pa.gov\/VotingElections\/OtherServicesEvents\/VotingElectionStatistics\/Pages\/VotingElectionStatistics.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a> from the Pennsylvania Department of State.<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman said during the debate that he does not plan to release his medical records or updated health information. The stroke kept him away from the campaign trail for several months, while both liberal and conservative moderators have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fetterman-faces-fallout-from-disastrous-debate-worst-performance-by-any-candidate-i-have-ever-seen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noticed<\/a> his lackluster communication abilities.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Santorum, a Republican who spent two terms in the House and two terms in the Senate representing the interests of the Keystone State, remarked on Saturday in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/it-requires-competency-former-pennsylvania-senator-rick-santorum-on-whether-john-fetterman-can-do-the-job-with-serious-health-issues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a> with The Daily Wire that Fetterman does not have the cognitive ability to serve effectively in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA senator does more than just votes. In fact, we spent very little time casting votes. We spent a lot of time working on issues, providing leadership on a variety of fronts,\u201d he commented. \u201cMost senators are involved in areas where they provide leadership, whether internationally working with other countries, working with organizations, or for particular causes. You have cachet as a senator, and most senators are capable of using that cachet to have an influence, to improve your country and to fight for the interests of your state.
