Do you want to keep the baby?\u201d Rodriguez asked her partner.<\/p>\n<p>Bowden, without skipping a beat, chimed in, \u201cF*** no \u2014 yeah, keep the baby. What the \u2014 yeah, I could not \u2014 f*** no.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey could be a boy [or a] girl, they could be transgender, they could do whatever, but I just wanna love that kid no matter what \u2014 three legs, whatever comes out, is gonna be our kid,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s different for me,\u201d Rodriguez replied, citing her speech pathology work with children who have Down syndrome and other special needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are so many complications, medical and also learning complications,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cI\u2019ve seen the amount of trauma\u00a0that it does to the\u00a0family.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, if I knew I could try again\u00a0and hope that the second\u00a0time is better, I would go that route,\u201d she told Bowden, who looked\u00a0concerned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would never \u2014 I could never do that, especially knowing we were trying to have a kid \u2014 just abort mission because they were gonna have some challenges, and we\u2019re gonna have some challenges,\u201d he strongly reacted. \u201cI\u2019m mentally tough enough to handle whatever challenges that may present, and I could just never pull the plug like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s f***ing rough, I could not do that, I\u2019m sorry,\u201d Bowden told Rodriguez. \u201cThe whole abortion thing \u2014 I couldn\u2019t \u2014 no.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His fianc\u00e9 went on to suggest abortion should be legal for any reason. \u201cI think, I have no say, in like, anyone\u2019s body,\u201d Rodriguez said. \u201cIf you need to have any abortion for whatever X, Y, Z reason: have it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later in the show, the subject of abortion and specifically Rodriguez\u2019s views on aborting special needs children came up in front of Bowden\u2019s family.
