To implement its radical agenda, often relying on its Young Global Leaders to do so, the WEF has pushed for the use of digital identity-tracking platforms and \u201csocial credit score\u201d systems \u2013 strikingly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/us\/webapps\/mpp\/ua\/useragreement-full\">similar<\/a> to PayPal\u2019s new policy.<\/p>\n<p>PayPal is also an official corporate partner of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/organizations\/paypal-inc\">WEF<\/a>, and several high-level employees from the company have routinely contributed articles to the group\u2019s site and participated in its events. Dan Schulman, the company\u2019s <span>President and Chief Executive Officer, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/authors\/dan-schulman\">authored<\/a> articles for the WEF including \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2018\/04\/digital-finance-can-fight-poverty-heres-how\/\">Technology<\/a> is delivering better access to financial services. Here\u2019s how\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2022\/01\/business-trust-edelman-interview\/\">The<\/a> thing that separates good companies from great ones: Trust.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PayPal\u2019s Head of Global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/communities\/gfc-on-social-cohesion-and-just-transition\">member<\/a> of the WEF\u2019s <span>Global Future Council on Social Cohesion and Just Transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"placeholder-inner\">In addition to being a WEF Young Global Leader, PayPal\u2019s Ahmed has authored articles for the WEF <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2021\/09\/international-trade-and-domestic-social-divides-a-new-vision-for-trade\/\">website<\/a>, including \u201cTo address inequalities we need a new vision for trade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBusinesses also have an important role to play in enabling inclusive trade.
