He also mocked the effects of fentanyl, saying that the symptoms of its use \u2014 \u201csedation, drowsiness, dizziness, and confusion\u201d \u2014 sounded like Walker.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Over 100,000 Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/republicans-energycommerce.house.gov\/news\/blog\/the-fentanyl-crisis-in-america-is-getting-worse\/\">died<\/a> from fentanyl last year.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">The Los Angeles Sheriff\u2019s Department <a href=\"https:\/\/lasd.org\/fentanyl-packaged-in-candy\/\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>On October 19, 2022, at approximately 0730 hours, LA County Sheriff\u2019s Narcotics Bureau Detectives and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents assigned to a task force at the Los Angeles International Airport seized approximately 12,000 suspected fentanyl pills.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect attempted to go through TSA screening with several bags of candy and miscellaneous snacks with the intent of boarding a plane. However, it was discovered that inside the \u201cSweetarts\u201d, \u201cSkittles\u201d, and \u201cWhoppers\u201d candy boxes were fentanyl pills and not candy.
