It should also mean the world to us as well,\u201d Lowden added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/baptist-coronavirus-pandemic-jimmy-carter-rosalynn-carter-5d40e69bfc2a317faad05993f1be55bd\"><span>The Associated Press<\/span><\/a><span>, the Carters have been attending church in-person for the last two Sundays, and they were wearing face masks per the church\u2019s policy. The church<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MBCPlains\/?hc_ref=ARRgcV3pFsco7TSo_ajW4JhMq6GN0Hjkn6IQQIZ5eaXmOz6A4RgqJRgYCny1-HeyjVs&#038;ref=nf_target&#038;__tn__=kC-R\"><span>announced<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0Wednesday the face mask policy was a required by the Secret Service to \u201cprotect everyone in the building,\u201d and no exceptions could be made.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Other health precautions at the church include mandatory social distancing, capacity restrictions, temperature checks at the door, and reservation system. So, since he couldn\u2019t yet run himself, he was backing Jimmy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/white-house\/jimmy-rosalynn-carter-won-t-attend-biden-s-inauguration-n1252871\"><span>NBC News<\/span><\/a><span>, Carter was the first former president to confirm that he would attend the 2017 inauguration of former President Donald Trump. Carter had attended every inauguration since his own, up until Biden\u2019s in 2021.
