Tom Malinowski (D) to fend off his Republican\u00a0challenger on his own.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\"><em>New Jersey Globe<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/newjerseyglobe.com\/congress\/dccc-appears-to-be-bailing-on-malinowski\/\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0Monday that with only two weeks before the election, the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) did not reserve any\u00a0television time for ads to help\u00a0the party loyalist. The DCCC has spent relatively little money on Malinowski\u2019s reelection bid.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The two-term congressman is running against\u00a0Republican Thomas Kean, Jr.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Following the redistricting process, the\u00a0congressional district shifted slightly more Republican, <a href=\"https:\/\/newjerseyglobe.com\/congress\/dccc-appears-to-be-bailing-on-malinowski\/\">according<\/a> to analyses: FiveThirtyEight\u2019s election model <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/2022-election-forecast\/house\/new-jersey\/7\/\">favors<\/a> Kean to win 71 out of 100 times, Cook Political Report\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookpolitical.com\/ratings\/house-race-ratings\">rates<\/a> the congressional district as\u00a0leaning Republican, and Inside Elections\u00a0recently <a href=\"https:\/\/insideelections.com\/ratings\/house\">moved<\/a> their prediction to\u00a0tilt Republican.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>When the DCCC does not\u00a0reserve any\u00a0television in the final weeks of an election or pulls its money out, it usually means the member could win alone, which is rare, or that the member\u2019s fate is sealed and the\u00a0funds would be more useful somewhere else.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent internal polling <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/polls\/house\/2022\/new-jersey\/7\/\">suggests<\/a> that the two candidates are tied at 48 percent, while an outside poll from\u00a0RMG Research <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/polls\/house\/2022\/new-jersey\/7\/\">shows<\/a>\u00a0Malinowski with only 38 percent and Kean with 46 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all of the forecasting,\u00a0DCCC spokesman\u00a0James Singer pushed back on the\u00a0<em>Globe<\/em>\u2018s contention that the committee totally abandoned the lawmakers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"default-content-wrapper clearfix\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>\u201cThe DCCC is committed to re-electing Congressman Malinowski, who has run a strong campaign that has him neck and neck with two weeks to go,\u201d Singer told the<em>\u00a0Globe<\/em>. \u201cThe DCCC has an office in this district and has made significant investments in field and communications to support Rep. Malinowski\u2019s efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The\u00a0House Majority PAC, the main super PAC for the\u00a0House Democrats, had spent\u00a0$1.25 million on the race to help\u00a0Malinowski, which included\u00a0$183,000 this week and\u00a0$160,000 for next week.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Republicans looking to flip the congressional district red are spending heavily. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the DCCC\u2019s Republican counterpart, has put\u00a0$1.28 million in the race for television. Similarly, the\u00a0Congressional Leadership Fund, House Majority PAC\u2019s Republican counterpart, is\u00a0spending $3.8 million.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
