Mikka also said he had to drive at slower speeds in order to have enough energy to keep the Tesla charged. That, however, was the cause for him being pulled over. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI pulled you over because you were going slower than the normal rate of traffic,\u201d a police officer is heard telling Mikka. <\/p>\n<p>Mikka explained to the officer: \u201cIf I go faster, I won\u2019t make it. I can speed it up a little bit, and then I got to pull over and wait like 15 minutes, and then I can go and speed it up again. It\u2019s a thing like time versus distance.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Along his road trip, Mikka stopped to collect some rocks off Lake Michigan, and the police were called again to complain about the generator\u2019s noise. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a cool build, but to me, it was basically useless,\u201d Mikka said. \u201cIt just didn\u2019t have enough energy.
