They got him back and got him in the ambulance and they tried to save his life. So to the people at Halifax hospital, doctors and nurses, I thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"27\">\u201cWe both decided that we were going to stop drinking so it was a situation where you know we both went cold turkey. I don\u2019t think either of us felt great because you stop drinking coffee for a day and you get a headache. I think we were both dealing with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"27\">Kevin Nash said that the decision to quit drinking came after there had been \u201ca couple of incidents,\u201d including a situation at the start of the year that caused his son to be hospitalized for approximately two months.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"27\">\u201cWhen you look back at things, it\u2019s like, so he wasn\u2019t feeling good. So we were kind of, my wife and I were just kind of like waiting on him hand and foot,\u201d he said. \u201cWe knew he was trying to do this. One of the things that if you WebMD that, one of the things of cold turkey is that you have an increased risk of having a seizure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"27\">He said that his son\u2019s heart was so damaged by the heart attack that doctors told him as his son was being rushed to the hospital that he was not going to make it.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Nash is a self-described Democrat who advocates for the LGBTQ community. Nash played college basketball for the University of Tennessee before later joining the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n<p>After later hurting his knee while playing basketball in Europe, Nash decided to pursue professional wrestling, where he won several world title belts and nearly two dozen championships.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ reported that Tristen Nash\u2019s death comes after Kevin Nash lost one of his best friends earlier this year, Scott Hall, 63.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Kevin Nash opened up this week about the death of his 26-year-old son, Tristen Nash, late last week.
