Host Margaret Brennan\u00a0cited a CBS poll\u00a0predicting Republicans will win a majority in the House with a total of 224 seats, asking Pelosi whether Democrats have a plan to shift momentum with about two weeks until Election Day.<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi insisted that her party is feeling &#8220;confident&#8221; about a favorable midterm outcome, adding that she\u2019s &#8220;very pleased&#8221; with the early voting turnout. But with the electoral impact of inflation hard to dismiss, Pelosi said it\u2019s time for her party&#8217;s midterm candidates to re-brand the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/republicans-media-gaslight-women-claiming-inflation-important-abortion-msnbc-joy-reid-claims\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republican-dominated issue<\/a> to &#8220;inspire&#8221; more Democrat voters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The fact is that when I hear\u00a0people talk about inflation \u2026 we have to change\u00a0that subject,&#8221; Pelosi said. &#8220;Inflation is a global\u00a0phenomenon.\u00a0The European Union, the\u00a0U.K., the British have higher\u00a0inflation rate than we do here.\u00a0The fight is not\u00a0about inflation,&#8221; she told Brennan. &#8220;Everything else is a\u00a0conversation compared to that.\u00a0But in order to do that, you\u00a0have to have inspiration.\u00a0You can\u2019t run on empty.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi touted her party\u2019s efforts to &#8220;lower the cost of living&#8221;
