However, he did have a creative way of criticizing them.<\/p>\n<p>On his podcast, <em>The Big Podcast with Shaq, <\/em>the legendary big man was discussing slow starts for the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the Lakers are concerned he had a diagnosis: they don\u2019t have any shooters.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;[The Lakers] are gated community gangsters. They have no shooters in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey ain\u2019t go no shooters. They have no shooters. I could leave my door open, I could walk around in my underwear,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/shaq-shaquille-oneal-western-kentucky-hilltoppers-football-uab-dj-diesel-tailgate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shaq<\/a> joked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they get outside the gates they talk hard but inside the gate? they ain\u2019t got no shooters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This was expected to be a bounce-back season for the Lakers following a rough 2021-22 campaign that saw them amassing a 33-49 record. <\/p>\n<p>It sure looks like more of the same for the Lakers this season after losses to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/lebron-james-gives-harsh-criticism-lakers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Golden State Warriors<\/a> and the Los Angeles Clippers.<\/p>\n<p>They still have 80 games to go and plenty of time to right the ship, but they need to get things on track sooner than later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Follow on Twitter: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Matt_Reigle\">@Matt_Reigle<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shaquille O\u2019Neal didn\u2019t mince words when talking about now his former teams\u2019 recent woes.
