But in particular, in this meeting, a coach of 40 years said they\u2019d never seen a hit like this. That was really what sealed the decision, at least on my part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vice chair Jeff Martin noted the \u201ccompetitive advantage\u201d at play, which he suggested was trumped by \u201csafety concerns.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe competitive advantage issue certainly has to come up in any scenario with that type of transgender conversion, per se,\u201d he said. \u201cI can tell you that the board wasn\u2019t searching out this kind of thing.
