Gov. John Fetterman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">In 2021, Krasner\u2019s Conviction Integrity Unit <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/philadelphia-bf9d1a183949f6984e375847587a71f7\">got<\/a> a judge to throw out the murder conviction against 32-year-old Jahmir Harris who served eight years in prison. The answer is never if John Fetterman gets his way,\u201d Yanick continued. \u201cHe wants to release one-third of Pennsylvania\u2019s inmate population, continue pardoning convicted murderers, and let violent criminals run our streets. That\u2019s too extreme for the U.S. Senate and downright deadly for Pennsylvania.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman\u2019s campaign has not yet responded to a request for comment from Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p>This month, Fetterman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/10\/12\/democrat-john-fetterman-suggests-shawshank-redemption-movie-justifies-freeing-convicted-killers-prison\/\">suggested<\/a> that the movie <em>The Shawshank Redemption<\/em> justifies releasing convicted murderers from prison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">As chair of the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, Fetterman helped free a number of convicted murderers from prison and has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/law-and-order\/2022\/08\/19\/democrat-john-fetterman-emptying-pennsylvania-prisons-by-a-third-wouldnt-make-anyone-less-safe\/\">suggested<\/a> freeing\u00a0a third \u2014\u00a0roughly 13,000 \u2014 of all inmates in the state\u2019s prison system.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>In 2019, Fetterman successfully\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/09\/13\/john-fetterman-helped-free-convicted-murderer-known-son-devil\/\">helped free<\/a>\u00a0a convicted second-degree murderer who was known as \u201ca son of the devil\u201d and who had allegedly threatened witnesses in the case with murder if they testified against him.<\/p>\n<p>That same year, Fetterman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2022\/09\/19\/john-fetterman-voted-to-free-murderer-who-killed-a-man-with-garden-shears-hired-a-hitman\/\">voted to free<\/a>\u00a0from prison a convicted murderer who killed a man with garden shears and sought to have a hitman murder his accomplice. In June 2021, Fetterman was the\u00a0sole <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/dem-senate-candidate-voted-to-free-convicted-murderer-who-killed-18-year-old-for-heroin-money\/\">vote<\/a>\u00a0to free a convicted murderer who killed an 18-year-old boy for heroin money.<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman, as Breitbart News\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/08\/18\/pa-democrat-radicalized-democrat-fetterman-chairmanship\/\">reported<\/a>, has overseen the release of 13 convicted murderers while heading the Board of Pardons. Also, one of Fetterman\u2019s appointees to the board\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/fetterman-appointee-pa-board-pardons-sought-abolish-mandatory-life-sentences-murderers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">sought<\/a>\u00a0to end\u00a0mandatory sentences of life without parole for first- and second-degree murderers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
