In his movie, he challenges the media\u2019s \u201cinsurrection\u201d narrative and gives protestors, who say they never entered the building, the chance to speak, after being vilified and more, as previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/new-film-capitol-punishment-counters-medias-jan-6-insurrection-narrative\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The director, who lives on a large ranch with a quarter-mile driveway in Texas with his family, said it was his wife Lisa who discovered the FBI agent\u2019s card on the door of her home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was no note attached, so I wasn\u2019t sure, like, was it for Chris, was it for me, was it for the whole family?\u201d Lisa shared with <a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/uncategorized\/jeff-reynolds\/2022\/10\/20\/former-pjtv-filmmaker-investigated-by-fbi-as-domestic-terrorist-for-j6-documentary-n1636605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PJ Media<\/a>. \u201cWere we supposed to call them back? I really didn\u2019t know what to make of it, but it was a warning. I mean, I\u2019ve never had anything like that happen before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She called Chris and he said he got an attorney. When they reached out to the FBI, agent Burgard said he told him \u201cthat they had a call in to the terrorist threat center that I was a terrorist because I had made the movie \u2018Capitol Punishment\u2019 and they had orders from DC I needed to be investigated,\u201d the outlet noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had to have a family meeting afterwards because, you know, from doing the movie, my daughter knows those other girls that had their house raided, and pulled out into the street,\u201d Burgard said. \u201cOne of them was handcuffed. They were flash-banged. And my daughter\u2019s like, \u2018Dad, you think they\u2019ll raid us tomorrow? Should I keep the dogs in my room? Cause I don\u2019t want them to shoot my dogs.\u2019 I can\u2019t tell you the stress this caused my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo call me and my family a terrorist threat \u2026\u201d he told The Daily Wire, mentioning what his daughter said to him, \u201cit\u2019s not stuff that you should have to live with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked why he thought this happened, he said, \u201cIf this can happen to me, it can happen to anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut in the United States of America they [someone] can say \u2018oh, he\u2019s a terrorist\u2019 cause I made a movie?\u201d Burgard added.<\/p>\n<p>He wanted to press the fact that there are \u201cgood FBI agents,\u201d and said the \u201cagents were very professional.\u201d The agent told them they needed answers to three questions, which he was able to submit in writing, the outlet noted. Those turned into nine sub-questions. He said as of now, the FBI he hasn\u2019t heard another word from them, but has no idea if there\u2019s still an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Producer and actor Nick Searcy talked to The Daily Wire about his <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/yesnicksearcy\/status\/1583463305351696384?s=20&#038;t=HAR1TwDTGPvS3INOvqS1Fg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a> regarding Burgard\u2019s FBI visit and said Chris is right when he said if \u201cit can happen to\u201d him, \u201cit can happen to anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FBI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FBI<\/a> has now targeted the director of this film I produced, Capitol Punishment, <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/keJeSjI5RR\">https:\/\/t.co\/keJeSjI5RR<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>This is not America.
