The Defendant launched attacks on the Committee and the criminal justice process immediately after his arraignment, on November 15, 2021, when he gathered the press outside of the courthouse and joined his attorneys in a five-minute statement.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Isn\u2019t there a little something in the Constitution that says, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/constitution.congress.gov\/constitution\/amendment-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congress shall make no law<\/a> respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seems like saying whatever you want about the government on your own platform might come under\u00a0<em>\u201credress of grievances.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Steve Bannon received a jail sentence before Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n<p>That tells you everything you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ryan Fournier (@RyanAFournier) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RyanAFournier\/status\/1583482860362641409?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 21, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/randi-weingarten-teachers-union-hit-campaign-trail-for-democrats-attack-republicans\/?utm_source=home-headline-stories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Randi Weingarten, Teachers Union Hit Campaign Trail For Democrats, Attack Republicans<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>R\u2019s And D\u2019s Matter<\/h3>\n<p>It seems more and more often that it all depends on which letter, an R or a D you have after your name, determines how much attention the federal machinery of justice will pay to you.<\/p>\n<p>Be a sitting Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/doj-wants-jail-sentence-for-bannon-refused-to-even-prosecute-obama-ag-eric-holder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">and play a significant role in<\/a> an actual gun-running operation, like Eric Holder, and the DOJ will do nothing if Congress finds you in contempt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Be a high ranking official in the IRS, one of the most powerful agencies in the nation, and expressly target conservative and Tea Party groups when they apply for tax exempt status, like Lois Lerner, and the DOJ will do nothing if Congress finds you in contempt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But for Steve Bannon, Contempt of Congress means prison time.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Biden has seen to it that Merrick Garland and the DOJ is his own private police force, and political opponents\u00a0<em>will <\/em>be dealt with accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Late Friday, former President Donald Trump himself <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/10\/21\/politics\/january-6-committee-subpoena-donald-trump\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was issued a subpoena<\/a> by the Jan. 6 Committee. If he refuses, as Lerner and Holder did, do you think the DOJ will ignore a Contempt of Congress charge?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Steve Bannon said to reporters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/news\/national\/bannon-gets-4-months-behind-bars-for-defying-1-6-subpoena\/article_51c14a12-4e4a-58c1-8925-74627c9b739e.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as he walked into court on Friday<\/a>,\u00a0\u201cThis illegitimate regime, their judgment day is on 8 November when the Biden administration ends.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I stand with Steve Bannon.
