We were told the vaccines not only protected us from the virus\u2019 worst symptoms, but helped prevent recipients from spreading it to others.<\/p>\n<p>We later learned the vaccine\u2019s efficacy waned in subsequent months, some still died after receiving boosters, and the shot\u2019s ability to stop the spread was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/scandalous-pfizer-exec-tells-eu-lawmaker-covid-jab-was-never-tested-to-show-it-blocked-transmission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more hype than reality<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreakthrough\u201d infections went from rare to commonplace. Some argued about the vaccine\u2019s side effects, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nih.gov\/news-events\/news-releases\/study-confirms-link-between-covid-19-vaccination-temporary-increase-menstrual-cycle-length\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">including interruptions in the menstrual cycle<\/a>. That\u2019s despite early findings there was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2021\/apr\/23\/covid-vaccines-periods-menstruation-changes-data-experts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cno data\u201d to suggest such a link.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Celebrities aren\u2019t doctors. They don\u2019t spend long weekends in labs poring over the latest medical findings. Yet they used every bully pulpit possible to promote vaccinations and shame anyone who disagreed, without acknowledging the various sides of the public debate.<\/p>\n<p>Dozens and dozens of stars <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/health\/celebrities-and-politicians-get-covid-19-vaccine-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared their vaccination photos<\/a> on social media to promote the cause.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy wing is feeling a little sore, but it\u2019ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy,\u201d Big Bird tweeted.<\/p>\n<p>Far-Left singer John Legend, who has supported the Defund the Police movement, told Gayle King why he got his shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve seen the devastation, the separation \u2026 we did Christmas on Zoom. I want to get back with my family \u2026 and not fear their health and their safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d also got into the act, sharing pro-vaccine messaging in multiple segments.<\/p>\n<p>An April 2021 sketch on \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d featured a faux game show named \u201cWill You Take It?\u201d in which guest host Daniel Kaluuya played a doctor all but begging his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ocJCAfFQgCQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unvaccinated family members<\/a> to get the jab.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, the unvaccinated are portrayed as slow, God-fearing, and stubborn, to be kind.<\/p>\n<p>A December 2021 SNL sketch featured Kate McKinnon as Dr. Anthony Fauci, along with lines mocking GOP politicians who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pop-culture\/tv\/snl-can-only-laugh-americas-vaccination-quandary-rcna8485\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cautioned against mass vaccinations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Outgoing \u201cDaily Show\u201d host Trevor Noah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primetimer.com\/watch\/trevor-noah-rips-anti-vaxxer-novak-djokovic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">excoriated tennis great<\/a> Novak Djokovic for not getting vaccinated, even though being young and in peak physical condition meant he had little to fear from the virus.<\/p>\n<p>The most infamous example is Stephen Colbert\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sSkFyNVtNh8&#038;t=3s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Vax Scene<\/a>.\u201d The sketch featured musical numbers, including dancing needles, in an attempt to promote the medical treatments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are the Vax Scene, get your shot right now in your arm, it won\u2019t hurt, then go hug your mom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn-noc-u-lation, for the whole nation, get a shot in your arm and get a haircut.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what one YouTube commenter blithely commented underneath the clip: \u201cIf anyone has ever wondered what propaganda actually looks like, you\u2019ve found it \u2026 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Howard Stern took a combative tone regarding the vaccine. Those who chose against the jab, he said, deserved to <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/digital\/news\/howard-stern-hospitals-ban-unvaccinated-people-1235157846\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suffer the consequences<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s time for you to get it. Now, if you don\u2019t get it, in my America, all hospitals would be closed to you. You\u2019re going to go home and die. That is what you should get. Absolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stern famously admitted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/too-much-for-me-howard-stern-recalls-exhausting-first-time-leaving-his-bunker-in-2-years-for-fear-of-catching-covid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">becoming a recluse during<\/a>, and after, the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>His pal Jimmy Kimmel used his late-night perch to similarly swipe at the unvaccinated, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jimmy-kimmel-suggests-hospitals-should-refuse-to-treat-unvaccinated-covid-patients\">suggesting that they should be banished from hospitals<\/a>. He also served up <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/video\/kimmel-covid-19-vaccination-childrens-book\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a faux children\u2019s book to mock the unvaccinated.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDot Got a Shot\u201d ends with the child receiving a COVID vaccination, even though children represent a microscopically small threat of serious illness or death due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>Kimmel capped the book by suggesting anti-vax parents were akin to flat-earthers.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there may be a simple answer to this obsequious behavior on Hollywood\u2019s part, beyond a willingness to do the Democrats\u2019 bidding at every chance.<\/p>\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judicialwatch.org\/covid-19-vaccine-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Judicial Watch expos\u00e9<\/a> showed how the Biden administration aggressively pursued social media platforms, celebrities, and late-night television shows to push its pro-vaccine, no questions asked agenda.<\/p>\n<p> Here\u2019s a sampling of their proposals and plans.<\/p>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Vaccine engagement package to all entertainment talent and management agencies\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Vaccine engagement package to all media companies and show producers\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Start celebrity Share the Mics\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Late night hosts vaccination video\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Launch Hollywood comedy writers video content\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Work with YouTube on an original special about vaccinations targeted to young people (similar to the YouTube\u2019s Dear Call of 2020 special)\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Request that the major live TV entertainment shows feature hosts being vaccinated on air (ex: the hosts of The Voice)\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Request vaccination specials with BET, The Undefeated, Desus &#038; Mero, Sneaker Shopper.
