Firerose\u2019s exact age is unknown.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a September 13 Instagram post, the Australian singer was wearing what many fans speculated was an engagement ring.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongrats Papaw!\u201d one of the top Instagram comments says along with a diamond ring emoji.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNice engagement ring congrats,\u201d another one says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHappy Autumn and Congratulations! it\u2019s wonderful to see your smile\u2026,\u201d a third fan shared.<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus has not confirmed if the couple is actually engaged. The caption of the most recent Instagram post just says, \u201cHappy Autumn.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The pair previously collaborated on the song \u201cNew Day\u201d in 2021, and after that they started appearing on each other\u2019s social media pages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world is a better place with you in it,\u201d Firerose shared on Instagram in honor of Cyrus\u2019s 61st birthday this August. \u201cHappy Birthday Billy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve been dating for a little while,\u201d a source <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/music\/who-is-firerose-billy-ray-cyrus\/\">told<\/a> People. \u201cThey grew close while working on music together. It is what it is. He and Tish were over before he started dating her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The country star allegedly knew the singer a decade ago when she was even younger. \u201cWe actually met 10 years ago on the set of Hannah Montana,\u201d Firerose said of her relationship with Billy Ray during a 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9IFwK8XlKoA\">interview<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Billy Ray\u2019s been a phenomenal supporter of my music ever since. He\u2019s just really believed in me and continued to tell me to pursue my dreams no matter what.
