Raphael Warnock (D-GA) denied that his church, the Ebenezer Baptist Church, had been <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/nick-arama\/2022\/10\/11\/bombshell-report-drops-on-raphael-warnock-herschel-walker-has-amazing-response-n641348\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evicting people <\/a>from a building owned by the Church for which he works, while at the same time that same Church is paying him a $7417-a-month housing allowance. Imagine thinking that changes the nature of what is going on here or the hypocrisy of the scandal after he went after Republican candidates for not supporting a rent moratorium.<\/p>\n<p>Second, what Warnock said is not true, as the Free Beacon reporter Andrew Kerr, who broke the story,<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewKerrNC\/status\/1581820943281766400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> explained: <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Warnock is lying. 12 eviction lawsuits have been filed against residents of the building owned by his church since 2020. I talked with some of those sued who paid over 2 months\u2019 worth of rent in court fees to stay in their homes. 2 lawsuits resulted in court-ordered evictions.<\/p>\n<p>So Warnock is lying to the faces of the people of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Kerr also noted again that Warnock has been the principal officer of the Ebenezer Building Foundation which owns the building and is managed by the Ebenezer Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">wrong <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cDY6QcibJH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/cDY6QcibJH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Andrew Kerr (@AndrewKerrNC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewKerrNC\/status\/1582051793399599105?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">October 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s not all, it gets worse.<\/p>\n<p>Not only have they been trying to evict people for very small amounts who are barely late, but the building itself also <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/pests-filth-and-killer-elevators-inside-raphael-warnocks-secret-low-income-apartment-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appears to be a hell hole. <\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Residents say the trash room often overflows up to the 12th floor because nobody comes to clean it out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe aroma of the trash was so horrific and ridiculous,\u201d said another resident, who lives on the first floor of the building near the waste room.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vmR9o3UODy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/t.co\/vmR9o3UODy<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KPa1Sw3F88\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/KPa1Sw3F88<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Washington Free Beacon (@FreeBeacon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FreeBeacon\/status\/1582010037257801728?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">October 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A low-income apartment building owned by Raphael Warnock\u2019s church is plagued by pests, maintenance problems, and filth, according to residents\u2014and at least two people have sued the building this year after the elevator allegedly collapsed on them.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of the Columbia Tower at MLK Village complained about living conditions in the building, telling the Washington Free Beacon that garbage is left to pile up in the storage rooms for days, creating an \u201coverwhelming trash smell,\u201d common areas aren\u2019t maintained, and the air<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the debate last week, Sen.
