After brushing up against the wall, Wallace bounced into Larson\u2019s car and then continued by tracking Larson\u2019s car down the track and slamming into the rear of his car, causing both cars to spin out.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement Monday night, Wallace <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BubbaWallace\/status\/1582152067895828480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1582152067895828480%7Ctwgr%5E4ec75309d160ae7fe1cdf2c2348fce97afec34e5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnascar.nbcsports.com%2F2022%2F10%2F17%2Fbubba-wallace-apologizes-for-actions-at-las-vegas-kyle-larson%2F%3Focid%3DYahoopartner%3Dya5nbcs\">claimed<\/a> that he intends \u201cto learn from this\u201d and he seemingly apologized to everyone except Larson:<\/p>\n<p><em>I want to apologize for my actions on Sunday following\u00a0the on-track incident with Kyle Larson and the No. 5 car.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My behavior does not align with the core values that are\u00a0shared by 23XI Racing and our partners, who have\u00a0played a crucial role in my incredible journey to the top\u00a0of this great sport.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I want to apologize to NASCAR and the fans, along with\u00a0Christopher Bell, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Toyota for putting\u00a0them in a situation in the Playoffs that they do not deserve.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I compete with immense passion, and with passion at\u00a0times comes frustration. Upon reflecting, I should have\u00a0represented our partners and core team values better\u00a0than I did by letting my frustrations follow me outside of\u00a0the car. You live and learn, and I intend to learn from this.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Wallace initially did not take any responsibility for his actions during a post-crash NBC interview and claimed that he did not intentionally slam into Larson\u2019s car, only saying that his \u201csteering was gone\u201d and that Larson \u201cjust so happened to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just a piss poor move on his execution,\u201d Wallace claimed.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about getting out of his vehicle and attacking Larson, Wallace responded that Larson knew what the message was that Wallace was trying to send.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe knows,\u201d Wallace said. \u201cHe knows that what he did was wrong. He wanted to question what I was doing.
